Wow fun theory! I actually think the kid hiding under the tree was to show us that Dajeong flustered because on one second the kid is under the tree, next second he is in the car - also to show us they are indeed the twin.
I really love the fact that even though Young Do is a caring person in general thus he did a lot of sweet little things to comfort Da Jeong, she actually acknowledged+thanked his efforts and even returned the favors. I guess that’s what made his heart opened up to her.

This drama is a hit or miss. Those who dislike it will nitpick everything about this show, while those who love it just love the way it is.
For those who are confused, this is a healing romance drama, with crime suspense to spice it up. The writer herself already said that this show doesn’t focus on guessing who the murderer is. Rather, understanding what someone had experienced that caused them to murder (antagonist) or to choose the way they live now (ml&fl).

Just my two cents, I like it how he doesn’t go over the line and just tell her not to meet him without revealing he is a sociopath. As he said before, being a sociopath doesn’t necessary induce committing murder, so he is checking things and making sure with proofs before stepping in fl&sml relationship.
