I’m confused. Can u explain to me why did Chae Jun killed himself ? And also if he’s the real Ian chase?
The twins are both hurtful and traumatic people. The mom sold Ian Chase to America for adoption, while Choi Jeong Min still stayed as her son. IC thought his life was hard enough until he visited CJM when he was 18. There he saw that CJM was abused by the alcoholic step father and the mom was killed. So as the older brother he decided to step in to protect CJM. He didn’t kill the stepfather directly but did not call ambulance for him, and even falsely testimony to the police to cover things up. On top of that, IC bought a mystery novel writer to kill the people who abused him during his time in the illegal church. And all started went down hill from there. The novel writer wanted to kill IC, and he mistook IC for CJM. CJM was tired of everything so he took his life. Actually all explanations are on ep 15.
The writer could easily finish telling the suspense in one episode, yet she chose to drag it meaninglessly throughout the series without really adding any value. Too many supporting characters and their unnecessary subplot; secondary leads deserve more meaningful screen times.
I believe this could've been a lot better without the murder-mystery plot. The story has a strong emotional core,…
I am with you. Would be great if they stopped the mystery on ep 2, and explore Ian Chase’s character as a hurt and traumatic person who needs help and healing. Tbh most of the time the secondary leads got lesser screen times than unnecessary supporting characters.
Oh no why did they break up in this episode ? What’s the reason ?
Having to watch Kdramas for decades, pretty sure they aren’t avoiding cliches, but rather making the cliches more interesting. I personally enjoyed the breakup trope this time. Sometimes couple needs to be apart for a while to give each other spaces and sort out the problems.

I would say they broke up because they are both too selfless. He, who doesn’t want to inflict her pain in the future. And she, who couldn’t bear to see him in pain now.
I think this drama would be much greater than it already is, if the side character's get little screen time and…
The truth has been spoken. Although some episodes are really great, some are quite lackluster and all over the place. Wish it had better organised writing, would have been a masterpiece.
“That person doesn’t even have a mom to confide in and cry” okay I meltdown this is so hard on my heart like I’m the one experiencing the breakup🥺 on the bright side I’m so glad they had this early on, which mean we are gonna get a happy ending yay
Gosh the dance part is so romantic and adorable. The way they referenced Leslie Cheung’s movie Days of Being Wild (1990), his character is known for being a legless bird.
so i guess it is only me who thinks the SML is kinda handsome but mysterious OFCbut i still refuse to believe…
I bet he is the good twin here. It saddens me that he is so traumatic from his childhood that he even requested the hotel to provide him 10 new toothbrushes everyday.
Gayoung by far the most entertaining character in the drama and i like Nam Gyuri. So underrated.
Kudos to the writer for creating this character. She is a nutcase, but she is cute and standout just the way she is without being the cliche clingy jealous ex wife. Also the way Nam Gyuri acted out this character is gold.
Da Jeong and Young Do are made for each other. I love how they are both emotionally matured, sincere, and caring.
When YD realised DJ’s feelings, he told her his conditions to prevent her unknowingly falling even more, yet still wanted to stay as friend so that he could one-sidedly giving. On the other hand, DJ respected his decisions and gave him spaces, yet still managed to convey what she felt without pressuring. No unnecessary misunderstanding, just two people slowly building relationship that is so comfortable and healing. Having to see dramas for decades, this is the first time I came across such a delicate story.
