On Stranger Season 2 Sep 4, 2020
How funny. For a masterpiece show like this to get a season 2, do you know how difficult it is? Kdrama is not American shows where getting seasons are common af. Not to mention it’s highly difficult to get all the actors and actresses recurring their roles. Do you know how much blood sweat and tears behind this season? No, you don’t. If you do, you would at least give this a chance and see what the writer offers us, instead of wasting time pointing out what you don’t like.

was it necessary to keep such interesting leads apart & give them so less screen time for the first 4 epis to…
I wrote them in other language tho. Do you perhaps know any good place to post fanfiction? I wouldn’t mind to translate it, if people is interested.

Ugh ikr tvN is such a scammer, I was so mad at the preview! Not that I was even expecting it to happen soon, but teasing for the sake of pulling viewers? What a despicable move. Hopefully we can get a satisfactory Shimok X Yeojin moments soon. I even wrote a fanfiction out of desperation LOL

Have watched the first 4 episodes and am missing the mystery / thriller element that kept me on toes in season…
First of all, you got into S2 with wrong expectation. The writer mentioned she wrote S2 in a different way, so she is definitely not going with S1 trope. In this season, she intended to add more realistic sides in order to discuss about current political issues, and cases that reflect society problems in South Korea. If you aren’t able to relate I would say fair enough, it might just not be your cup of tea.

Necessary or not, we will have that answer by the time we finish the show. Taejoo’s group line is important because they are linked to S1 as well as the hidden big case. I admit that so far the writer had cut down a lot of CSW’s screen times, and I felt sad about that. Also the show is not meant for first time watcher, and the company clearly knew what they are targeting for. If rating is all they care for, they wouldn’t even produce second season. Fyi, right now this show is getting all the attentions it needed so far in South Korea. Best comments for ep 4 on Naver were all loving it and excited to have more episodes to come. Not all people watch it on TV, and the rating so far show some stability trend for fanbase. Anyway, don’t fret too much my friend. Just enjoy the current S2. What would make S3 happen is not just rating, but the availability of the cast, writer’s brilliant script, budget for making, etc. So many other factors could break or make S3.

Also can yall stop comparing dramas that air on different year? Variables that affect the rating are changing continuously, thus it’s not valid enough to being compared.

Yall give the writer-nim a break. It’s only four episodes in and she has yet to show the hidden cards she’s holding. The first four eps are just a base; it’s clear she is drawing the bigger picture and later leading us to the climax which is Shimok and Yeojin revealed the truth behind cases and working together to create a better police&prosecutor systems.

Cho Seung Woo mentioned S2 feels like a totally different drama. And the writer said unlike S1, she wanted to add more realistic sides to S2. She wishes through her drama she can make the world a better place, or at least making people rethink what is a better world. Despite being a fiction drama, a lot of cases reflected the society and government system in South Korea. So if your brain can’t keep up or can’t relate, please just don’t continue watching. This drama might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it truly deserves the hype.

My friend, it should be “where have YOU been till now?” ;). Jo Seung Woo was the lead in several famous movies and dramas. Also he is South Korea highest paid musical actor to date.
