Oh, god not Step by step. π This series will forever will be on the bottom of my rating list...
I definitely rate Step by step higher, but if boss and babe is 5 out of 10, step by step is 6 or 6,5 tops. So calm down they are both bad. But if I should suffer once again, I would prefer less suffering with step by step.
Okay, I really liked the first episode! It was a little confusing - so have boss already slept with the secretary or it is about to happen? Timeline could be clearer. And I feel Boss should be older at first, but then they explained they started this company together, so it makes sense. Already I see a lot of love triangles and concentrated emotional drama, so I am sold. Hope further episodes won't disappoint.
Beautiful, great aesthetic sex scenes, well shot, well played, well written, has a twist, but sort of slow paced and somethingis really missing. Normally I don't mind, sometimes series are a mood, but I never really tuned into this one. Underwhelming unrealistically happy ending. Probably because it's Bible, I expected the same novelty and surprise KinnPorsche brought and that's impossible to get anymore, I dunno. I enjoyed, but it will not become my favorite series. Bas and Fuaiz are absolute shining stars for me here, I hope to see them in another series together somewhere.
All the comments talking about the low quality production value have me a bit confused. I thought it was really…
People like to be negative, there is nothing low about this production, it's very good, and the acting is good. I enjoyed myself, you enjoyed yourself, that's the main thing! Ignore the haters.
It would be such a great story if it would! The guy is trying to escape horrors of dictatorship inhumane regime only to get caught and sentenced to death only to be saved by his friend who makes him a hero instead. Boom - emotional conflict of being praised for something he didn't do by the regime he opposes under the death threat. That is on top of original conflict of being separated from his family and under death threat. As he is figuring this out being frozen, dazed, paralyzed with fear, emotions and internal conflict, etc. he gets closer to the guy who saved him. Savior doesn't have a lot of ulterior motives, but hidden love for the ML he bears since early days of youth. This love is also forbidden and condemned and possibly harbors death threat as well. But the Savior is genuine in his feelings and he is a great guy, and he is also a powerful and hence dangerous one. Morally gray dubious character sort of (my favorite kind). This whole dangerous cocktail of Savior's personality is super attractive and brings ML to reciprocate his feelings, and on the verge of death threat people tend to feel love much edgier, and a moment of passion leads to another and another until real feelings emerge and bloom. And boom - another conflict, now ML still wants to leave the country to flee the regime, be free and be with his family, but he is also in love and his lover is the greatest thing that happened to him and is asking him to stay. So ML is torn apart between his love and family, honor and duty, personal truth and greater good. How will it end? I hardly see a happy ending, it needs to end in a disasterous drama. Oooh I would watch that! Shall I watch a movie and write a fic? I probably should π
Oh I can't take my eyes off Sailub! What a dramatic difference with PitBabe - from a boring guy in old crampled…
Yes, you are probably right, they did succeed with boring flat uncle vibes. I totally missed his gorgeousness! Thank god they let him shine in this one, I have a new crush now π
I don't know how you see the meaning of the word manipulation, because at no point did Plawan manipulate him,…
Right? I love this show, I love all characters in it, but god forbid me from ever having such "friends" as Plawan. He only thinks about himself and uses everyone around him, also claiming he is an angel victim of this whole universe no less. Nono, Plawan, we see your real face π
Actually I still don't understand what JJ is expecting from him too. In the last episode JJ kinda hinted that he will be with Metas in exchange for Plawan's well-being. Admirable frend, but he is also trying to use Metas like that, for money in a way. Don't get me wrong, I love me some guys with very grey morals, but doctor JJ needs to be more clear.
I knew I would like this show since the trailer I saw on Change's presentation, but I couldn't believe HOW MUCH! To me JJ and Metas already stole this show couple of episodes ago, but how gorgeous is Sailub omg! He is otherworldly beautiful. And normally I enjoy shows, but I can tell a little twicks here and there that could be changed to make it even better. You know, change pace, fix storytelling, some loopholes, cut some long scenes, filler dialogues, cringey jokes, change some lines to make dialogues a statement, clothes, any of the actors, the setting, etc - but this!!! There isn't even a slightest bit that I would change. It's just perfect as it is! So wholesome and loaded in a good way. There is a perfect measure of everything, and oh boy do actors deliver!!! Whoever worked on this show - you are just the best. That being said, I don't want series to end, so I dread next week when it will be all over. Already this is in my top 3 Thai series that I ever watched (and I watched a lot).
Bas and Fuaiz are absolute shining stars for me here, I hope to see them in another series together somewhere.
That being said, the "low quality production" is not a realistic flaw of Kidnap show, so no one denying this argument is a blind fan.
