ML was fantastic. FL was not good at all.
This show has so much potential. FL was just a fluffy, immature annoying character. Not her fault but it’s a lot to do with her voice. Can’t take her seriously at all because of it. It ruined any serious or emotional scenes that she was in.ML was mature and played his part well. if he had been paired up with someone else this could have been a much better show.
The story was good. But was best suited for a younger audience. Mature adults will find this a tad fluffy. And this show wasn’t meant to be fluffy, so it left me feeling confused on how to feel for this.
Perhaps 20-somethings will like this better than adults in my age bracket (40-somethings)

This one surprised me.
I’ll admit, I’ve criticized Esther Yu’s acting more than a few times in the past, but I have to give credit where it’s due—she really landed this role. Her character was intelligent, mature, and refreshingly capable. Thank goodness we were spared the frustrating “damsel in distress” FL!And then there’s our ML, Chen Jingke. Oh. My. Heart. 😍😍😍
This was my first time seeing Chen Jingke in a lead role, and he absolutely delivered. He somehow managed to ooze sexiness, vulnerability, growth, and genuine love all at once. What impressed me most was how much he could communicate with just his eyes. No dialogue, no dramatic gestures, no over-the-top actions needed—you could simply see what his character was feeling. That kind of emotional expression is incredibly compelling. Well done, Chen! 🥰
The OST also deserves a special mention. It was absolutely beautiful and complemented the scenes perfectly, enhancing the emotions without ever overpowering them.
Of course, the drama had its share of familiar rom-com tropes—because what drama doesn’t?—but thankfully, they were handled well enough that I never found myself rolling my eyes. There were also no painfully annoying side characters constantly getting in the way, which was another huge plus.
I especially enjoyed the teenage soccer boys. They brought humor, innocence, and a lighthearted energy to the story, and the soccer scenes added a fun dynamic that helped balance out the more emotional moments.
Overall, this was an excellent rom-com/drama with romance, humor, emotional growth, a beautiful soundtrack, and characters I genuinely enjoyed watching. And Chen Jingke? Let’s just say I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for his next lead role. 😍

What a hidden gem!
All the episodes are great, but Ep. 14 will knock your socks off. Well done to the actors who made us feel all the feels.Marure story line and very well done to the writers for doing their homework on mental illness. What a loving way to look and handle mental illness. ❤️
I like how the writers made the characters mature and not pulling out all the usual tropes that many Kdrmas do.
The secondary characters were very endearing and not annoying like other Kdrmas I have watched.
I promise that this will not disappoint.
