Really? I thought they link the order of main cast with the payment? I mean at least for main casts…I know if they have veteran actor coming as guess, they might get significant pay…

POJ is pursuit of jade? I guess the feel was different because there are only 1 ML and 1 FL, and they are couple. Here we are creating e ML, 2 FL and basically 2 couples. Their stories will compete. But in regular one main couple drama, their stories at least will come together eventually…so maybe feel more natural. But really c drama world is so complicated, it is such ashame sometimes that certain actors/actresses cannot work together just because one’s role is bigger than the other…

I don’t really understand the billing thing really, I mean why some actresses/actors or even the fans have so much ego. I think it’s fair if some people get paid more or less, I mean even in the real working setup, that’s the case even for people with similar roles. I don’t know why, but when I watched WSG fight, I feel ‘uneasy’, meaning I felt like he would somehow lose. Compared to watching JL for example, I knew he would come strong and able to beat anyone. The fact that I got that impression, meaning they built that level of strength in this character. Considering he is dragon deity, got all the power, trained under the star stone etc…I mean…just doesn’t sound right. I don’t expect him to have godly power, but at least better than this. Or maybe because JL was made so strong, creating a gap that made me feel WSG was much weaker…not sure…

I think it’s possible. But well, in this case, that’s my point, if they cannot make this 5 main leads, don’t present it that way. I can understand why some fans are disappointed. If you want to focus on one, then don’t try to make others lead as well. If the actor/actress didn’t want to take support role, then hire others. If they are willing to, then at least the fans know what to expect.

For me, it’s not really about the screen time, but I feel Joseph’s character was not developed strong enough considering his real role. Though Joseph had a lot screen time earlier, still everything still feels like supporting the main JL and JY arc. And the fact that WSG needs help most of the time…just feels weak to me. Anyway, I am not saying this to complain about certain actors/actresses, pls don’t get me wrong and start thinking that way. All in all, I have no beef with anyone, except I am bias because I like JJY. I just don’t agree this drama has 2 ML and 2 FL. I mean, at least have the gut to clearly put the right people as main leads, instead of trying to avoid equal billing issue by putting everyone as main lead.
Haha, but in this drama, clearly the director has his favorites… Not that I am complaining, JJY is awesome! I feel bad for Joseph though…they made his dragon deity status feels like a joke :(
I am still struggling to finish this, but just want to say I appreciate they didn’t do makeup on CFY. I think probably this is the first time I saw ML in c-dram without red lips. Even Mengwan has very minimal makeup, so appreciate they really consider they are in war zone!
Ahaha interesting, I find Xiao Wei's is the weakest part & shd hv been shown less (6 ep is too much for a…
Yeah, I like the misterious vibe of first few episodes…and the pace is acceptable for me. The second arc was a torture for me, especially CDL and Joseph part, it was so slow and long I honestly skipped most of their lovey dovey part. I guess because I am here for the story, not really enjoying romance. I understand those scenes are important to engage audience on their romance later on, but I am fine not relating to any romance at least I won’t cry if this is sad ending lol. My focus is only on the sisterhood, so maybe I would cry if one of the two sisters died or betrayed each other :(
Maybe because all the eps was released at once so there’s continuity. For subsequent arcs, while I appreciate…
Not really, I didn’t watch the first few episodes right away, I remember watching one episode per day (or even half lol) because I was busy during that week…
Unpopular opinion, but I really think Xiao Wei arc is the best presentation. The first few episodes were made in the right pace, enough ratio of mistery and comedy, the visual is so beautiful, the action is amazing. The storyline is strong. The only one off is when Xiaowei told the sisters ‘It’s not worth it’ while holding his lover. I mean, ideally he should say something like ‘I don’t regret it’ or ‘It’s worth it’. You didn’t go through so much sacrifice and then while dying (and holding your dying lover), you said not worth it, considering how much he loved his lover. Almost saying like ‘If I could go back, I wouldn’t do this’ but we know that’s not true especially in the later episode it showed that Xiaowei knew about JY.
I really want this show to be great, I hope I am just being impatient, I hope later episodes will clear out all the plotholes…and no more crying JL in tears he cannot wipe :(
Yan an's ating is just too good. I cried the whole episode today😭😭😭😭😭😭
I agree. He was so underrated, I specifically felt his facial expression was much more difficult to portray…not all out, not supressed…somewhere in between…and yet we can still feel it.
Yuan wuhuo was keeping ji ling captive because ji ling failed to save his brother yuan xizai. His brother died…
Bu it was long enough before he took Xizai’s form, so clearly YWH didn’t really intend to kill him. Also, even after he took Xizai’s form, took care of him, showed his innocense, he was still held captive…
Yeah, I was confused for a while. I thought maybe he was not blind, and only became blind when he turned to Xizai. But then he said he was born blind…also, he was chained, how did he grab the doll, haha, I have so many unnecessary questions…

Also, her voice in the OST is soooo angelic…
