Here is a much better synopsis than what MDL has posted:
Joo Eun-Ho (Shin Hae-Sun) is an unknown announcer with 14 years of experience. She struggles for the chance to have her name recognized by the public. She also has another personality in her due to a deep wound in her heart. Her other personality is that of Joo Hye-Ri. Her other personality is super positive and works as a parking attendant.
Jung Hyun-O (Lee Jin-Uk) is an ex-boyfriend of Joo Eun-Ho and they dated for a long time, but broke up. He became a star announcer as soon as he joined the broadcasting station and he is the most liked announcer by the public, but he also carries a wound hidden in his mind that he has never shown to anyone. Somehow, Joo Eun-Ho and Jung Hyun-O reunite and help cure each other's wound.
Ahh I finished this for the second time the other day and I am having a hard time moving on again from this couple. Such a fantastic drama. Anyone who is thinking of watching, please do! Don't hesitate. I wish on rewatch value they would let us rate it again because I would stick by my 10/10 rating. ππππ
If I'm not wrong it was "Jiaxu, I finally found my dream. My dream is to get into Yihe University."
Ahhh - wonder why all the translations don't show that? Maybe because the star strip was a bit blurry and the translators couldnt make out what the rest said? But yeah, he was part of her dream. πππππ
If I'm not wrong it was "Jiaxu, I finally found my dream. My dream is to get into Yihe University."
I knew I had seen it somewhere - I thought it was in the drama but I had read the novel so I thought I would go back and check it and there it was. I wish they had shown that in the drama but they ended up together anyway so I guess it was a moot point but I felt like it would have enhanced his feeling of just how much she adored him from the beginning - I think I cried buckets of tears today binging this. Those last 5 episodes were just so heart wrenching and touching - when he realizes just how much she loves him and protects him - my heart!!! ;π₯°π₯°π₯°π

We canβt really see what the star says since they donβt show it clearly but the novel states she did say he was her dream as well so I would like to think that is what he read and that is why they smiled and kissed - the end. β€οΈ

All translations say it was to get into the university but I just watched the episode today where she marked through that when she thought he had a GF. Wonder if that was a blooper or if there was more to that? But tbh, he definitely was her dream.
Edited: I knew I had read it somewhere so I found it - it is from the novel - the last star:
Duan Jia Xu looks down and reads what is it on the paper.
I had this on my plan to watch but I don't think I'll be watching this. Victor Ma owned this character in the…
I loved VM too as Sang Yan - I am rewatching HL now - almost done and he really took that role and was good in it. I love BJT but not sure i see him in this role but I am going to watch. I am hoping our leads from HL make a cameo appearance too - highly unlikely but would be great if they did show up towards the end. But yes, it will be hard not to compare the two roles - it's hard to make a character one way in a drama then change his character and actor in another. I will try to keep an open mind but a lot of people will absolutely be comparing the two roles - it's only natural when an actor and character is well liked and received in the original role and it gets changed.
Highly recommend if you're in the mood for adorable and heartwarming love story. No complicated twists or mind-boggling…
The Sang sibling relationship reminded me of me and my brother - even today when he and I are a lot older, we still argue and tease each other mercilessly. It's how we say "I love You" as brother and sister. LOL
Sang Zhi falls in love with Duan Jia Xu, a boy who often comes to her house to play games in his older brother's…
They didn't really lose contact - he was in and out of their home while in college - sometimes she saw him there sometimes she didn't (like when he borrowed money from her parents for his mom's funeral - he was there at their house paying them back but she hadn't met him at that point so she was probably asleep since it seemed like it was night time) He was also busy working part time jobs, then after graduation he moved back to his hometown to work - but he still stayed in touch with her since he had tutored her. When she thinks he has a GF (the flight she took in her last year of High School to where he was at) she ghosts him. The 1-2 years they didn't see each other and she didn't respond to his texts after that encounter, were the longest they went without contact - but he still stayed in touch with her brother and asked him about her. He was pretty much a part of her family from early on - best friends with her brother and her parents liked him. They were kind of like ships passing each other in the night at the beginning, even though she had a huge crush on him. It's not until she becomes an 11th grader that she really has more interaction with him.
I am rewatching and I still feel this is one of the best c-dramas I have seen.
Wdym trying extra hard to be cute lol I think you meant she does it without stress π€π€
It isnt near as bad as Esther's voice - I cant watch any of her dramas because of her voice - and she plays grown women!!! At least here it doesnt bother me because Zhao Lusi is playing a teen girl - once she gets into University and matures her voice normalizes.
Instead of reading Hidden Love read The End of Eternity; the book shown multiple times in the drama. It will give…
ohh love your post. Definitely going to check out the book since I am now rewatching HL again. I may read it then go back and rewatch the drama a 3rd time. π

She had originally wrote that then crossed it out after she came back from Yihe as a teen and thought he had a GF - of course we realize later she does go to Yihe U - I am rewatching this one so I will take a closer look at that part but I thought when i watched it the first time that she wrote her dream was him? It's when he realized that she had loved him since she was a teen.

My dream:
1. Get into Yi He university
2. Duan Jia Xu
The writings are soft and the paper is wrinkled.
