Actually she did know him - I just watched that episode today - he was the root cause of her leaving the hospital - he stole her dissertation - left her name off of it and said it was his so he ended up getting the Professor position and she got nothing except betrayed. And none of her colleagues would even stand up for her. She went back later to the hospital meet with them about her severance pay and they told her to not come back because she was making it uncomfortable for them all. KM was her mentor - and he betrayed her with the help of that other scumbag that was her supervisor. It was all explained in the episode and those that followed. It wasn't about him getting married - but all about how he deceived her and then stole her work - and now he is going to be the director of a pharmaceutical company via his "wife" - so he leaves his job as professor - the job she wanted and worked hard for that he stole from her and then he just walks away from it for another job - what was the work she did for??? I'd be sad and pissed too.
On ep 5 and I love it so far. Each episode opens more of their past and present relationship and the mystery surrounding ML’s problems is interesting and engaging.
They could be twins ! The resemblance is uncanny. I believe I remember PHS said his brother was a year older than him and supposedly he looks a lot like his brother. LOL
It's very sad and terrible - the sexual assault case that came back up from 20 years ago was very disturbing to me. I thought about that poor woman for days. I dont understand even today why things like this continue to happen - my mind can't fathom such evilness - from 20 years ago to Burning Sun and more. And it just isnt Korea - all over the world. And not just women being victims - it's children and men too. Some people are just horrible, evil beings.
