After seeing ep 24, I REALLY dislike Cyrus even more now. It seems like every episode makes me dislike him more and more. Cyrus to Brandon: you should have told me sooner (that you like Sec Kim) I would have stopped myself from liking her
What the heck? Dude, you KNEW your brother has liked her since you got back! I really despise this guy. He has the victim mentality down to a T - classic manipulator.
Ugh, I dislike Cyrus even more now. He clearly knew Brandon had feelings for Kim yet he deliberately inserted himself in between them by manipulating Kim’s Ninja Boy past. I don’t understand why Brandon won’t just tell her the truth and expose his scumbag brother.
It is very annoying- I don’t get the whole “make this go away for our family’s sake” approach - like this thread says - they are all grown adults now so why keep it hidden? I can see why Brandon has to see a counselor - his trauma is more with his family making him push the trauma of the bullying and kidnapping down deep so he doesn’t have to deal with it instead of getting him the help he would have needed when he was younger. The parents created this mess with their adult sons. At least Kim had a loving family that supported her - her problem is she forgot those memories but they are coming back - and she has kept a log of them so clearly she has been facing this trauma in her own way since it happened but Brandon’s parents just pushed him to never remember. His parents did both boys a great disservice.
Yeah i finished ep 23 last night and it is so clear he wasn't Ninja Boy - and I am frustrated with Brandon's ostrich approach to all of this - keep sticking your head in the sand to avoid confronting your past trauma - and letting Kim think he wasn't the one with her during all of that. And why isnt he confronting Cyrus about misleading Kim to think he is Ninja Boy? Ugh. I SHOULD go back and rewatch the Korean version - I've forgotten so much from that drama as far as their kidnapping storyline goes. I just remember all the romance parts. LOL
You mean Jake Cuenca? I lso fid his acting weird .
Yes! And I went and looked at some photos from his other dramas and the guy KNOWS how to smile nicely - at least the pics show a nice smile so I am not sure what is going on in this drama with his smile. I am only up to ep 23 now and I can't tell if his character is sincere or not - it feels like he isn't. And the mom is starting to make me a bit annoyed with her - she seems like she is favoring Cyrus over Brandon. I am hoping to get caught up today to ep 28.
Because no matter how 'good' HL loves to see him as sangyan, he couldnt carry the drama as ML at all. And he do…
It's not that serious - calm down. I didn't trash HIS work. In fact, I said I was a fan of his work - a fact you overlooked. The PRODUCERS are all about the money - I guess you didn't understand that inference so I guess that is my fault for not saying so - Actors have no control over it - they are asked to play a part and they look at the script and decide - but you can't tell me hiring him as the ML wasn't about making money since he is a popular actor - it absolutely is. That is what ANY of these dramas are about from a Producer's POV. So chill - I am not here to make enemies but please stop with the accusations of misinformation and such - you are getting worked up for no reason. We are all here to enjoy dramas and we have differing opinions .

I did read it. I enjoyed it - and maybe once the drama starts I will feel differently - my whole point is a lot of us feel VM was Sang Yan - and it is natural that the two will be compared - this is the result of changing the character's actor in a sequel.
