How come the drama details here advertise it as 24min episodes but the only place airing it is Viki who have it as a full 48min episode? Why not just say its 10 episodes of 48mins each?

I just finished watching last night. I really feel like the writers really like Tae Kwang the most but were forced to make Han Ian the end game because they really didn't develop him or spend much time on him at all. It was very rushed, like they didn't care for Han Ian at all. lol.

I have since finished the series and my opinion of him hasn't changed. He basically did nothing for 16 episodes other than jeopardise his career and had less screen time with the FL than the 2nd ML on top of that. I can only blame the writing for not building up and developing the motivations for the pairing they wanted to force on us. The rest of the story was good but that aspect was stupid.

I'm on episode 4 and I really dislike Han Yi An. I don't understand how he could be the ML. His character is annoying and I think he will end up with the FL which is completely ridiculous at this point. He seems so oblivious to everything even when he was with the original sister. All he though was about himself and can't see that there is something wrong and still can't see anything.

Can someone help clarify how these episodes release on WeTV. I don't get the Chinese release so its only ep 28 now VIP and I know it airs Mon, tues, Wednesday?
So is it two episodes released a day on WeTV Vip? So two on Monday, Two on Tues and two on Wednesday? Also what time do they release the episodes? I watched yesterdays release but I don't see anything for today yet (GMT). Thank you.

Oh wow! Thanks! If this was the west the original author and publishing house would have slapped her with a DMCA for copyright. Interesting that they hired the same actors. I love the original actors for minkit though so not complaining there.

I was just thinking more about it and the more I think, the more I feel this may be a parody of BL because they broke the 4th wall and basing it off BL. From past Histories, I don’t think the writers would be so insensitive to us and create such 2D characters and all the tropes under the sun. There is a reason and it’s framed in this way for that reason. It’s only one episode to read into it this much but I’m going to keep going and see where this goes. I’m pretty sure they are making fun of the whole BL genre and fans.

Everyone was scared that this is gonna end up like MODC last ep. BWHAHAHAAAA OMG. It ain't that kinda show and you can tell from the first ep. They really trying knew things in History 4 with a comedy style drama now. I am gonna see how it develops.

Like back in the day some similar KDramas were really OTT in the first couple eps before mellowing out and relaxing a bit. We shall see. (This is really giving me She Was Pretty vibes)

History stories are BL stories so they would have BL themes rather than LGBT stories that are based more off reality. BL is based off yaoi so there will inevitably be a line like "I love you because of you regardless of gender. " But its refreshing that more and more BLs are having their characters admit they are gay and the CEO in the voice over knew he was always gay.
As for the others, it's a reality equivalent of Bi or something. Seeing as this series has a lighthearted comedy ridiculousness about it, they will probably have some reveal that they always liked each other but never knew it because they kept teasing each other.

I wonder if this is some kind of parody of BL stories because sometimes I felt the 4th wall being slightly broken. Maybe after the last one they really wanted to lighten the mood but I wonder if it's too light? I dunno how I feel about it yet. I wasn't expecting this much comedy and slapstick. It did give me Japanese manga vibes which I personally am not that into.

Does anyone think that leather jacket dude reminds them of Siwon when he was in She Was Pretty as Jackson? But a little more over the top?

Okay the panic is temporarily over!! I cleared my cache this morning and followed the link to WeTV I have bookmarked instead of the link on this page and all seems back to normal.
One thing I realised though is that the Chinese region has a lot of extra behind the scenes footage and specials. I hope they sub it and release it to the rest of the world soon. :)
