That's my point - people are already complaining about the age different or how Ai Mi is too young even before watching the drama lol. Give them a chance, see if they can beat the expectation, or not. Liu Yi Fei was only 18, I think, not much older than Ai Mi when she had her first romance drama + kiss.

I am guessing you are not familiar with Ren Jia Lun's work? Well, he had kiss scenes in The Blue Whisper, The Demon Hunter's Romance and The Glory of Tang Dynasty. A quick internet search would give you that information. But no, the low rating has NOTHING to do with the kiss or no kiss, but the problem is with the story and plot. Nothing to do with the actors or the actresses, I would blame the screen writer.
I dropped after ep10. I have NEVER missed RJL costume drama and sadly this is the first time, I just can't watch it anymore. I thought if it's HE I would pick it back up but.... I am not going to say don't watch it, people have diff opinion. You should give it a try and see how you feel. For me, with so much misunderstanding, this is a no.

I haven't finished this S3 but I am at the point where I just want Grand Princess to take over the throne! The Emperor is so afraid of her that he's also afraid of LLF and he's only thinking about how to secure his throne and not thinking what's best for his people. Cliche I know.
