Maybe this drama is not the type of drama that you like or maybe you really don't like it. I too watch this drama because of xiao zhan but I enjoy everything except the bgm ( I do like some of the funny scenes, but some were so awkward and annoying for certain scenes like fighting and sad scenes because it ruins the scene). I think the character's development is ok, not that bad. And if you are looking for romance then this drama is not for you, but there are some lighthearted moments and sweet scenes that will make you smile like crazy and want to be Xiao Wu. Tang San and Xiao Wu's relationship is more like brother and sister, but overall I still really love their relationship so much. My only problem is that Tang San's character development is slower than others. And I wish they focused more on Tang San than the whole group. You said this drama has nothing useful???, well I don't know if you have watched all the episodes or not, but if you watched the whole thing. This drama is actually teaching many things that are relatable to us like how the shrek seven devils became good friends, how they work so hard to become a soul master, and how their character develops their skill from weak to strong. They show us the efforts of Tang San and his team slowly understanding each other, changing their personalities, and becoming a good team. This drama is very suitable for teaching to all ages. It is a story that can be taught to everyone, especially children and teens.
And personally, the more I watch, the more I feel attached to all the characters. Not only the male lead Tang San and Xiao Wu, but every character especially Tang San's Master, Yu Xiao Gang (I literally had a crush on him haha and I love the lessons he taught the shrek seven devils). I love all the characters because they all are unique and I think they all are so relatable to us. I absolutely love the team work and their friendship so much. I wish I had a friend group that is as good as the friendship in this drama.
For me the only bad thing about this drama is the bgm. It's not that bad, but maybe I'm just not a fan of it because I prefer traditional bgm.

I am still crying over why can't the untamed two male leads have a hug like the two male leads in WoH. I haven't watched WoH yet, but I did see a few clips of them hugging each other.
Just my opinion, I think you should not watch other dramas if you are still so attached to WoH or you can watch maybe you are different, but for me when I watched the untamed last year and got so attached to it. I have a very difficult time watching a new drama because I can't get over the untamed T-T. You might not like this drama in the first few episodes because it is so confusing but if you got nothing to watch then keep watching this one and believe me you will love it and want more.
Some people said that the untamed is an open door for them into c-drama, but for me it is a closed door T-T. After I watched the untamed I can't watch other dramas at all because I would get bored and then drop after only a few episodes because in my head and heart I always think of the untamed all the time.
As someone who knows nothing about chinese culture, when I first watched the untamed I didn't really notice all the important love details between the two male leads, but only their gazes and what they did for each other that all I know.
I can't think of a better way for the producer, director, screenwriter to show the love between the two male leads. I love how this drama is without too much skinship, no hug, no kiss, no confession, etc because their eyes and actions are enough for the audience to know that they both are something more than just friends. I think what really makes people love this drama not only because it was bl but the beautiful and touching storyline that would never be forgotten, unforgettable traditional bgm that would makes you miss the untamed whenever you heard the bgm, characters theme songs that tell us about what they went through, beautiful costumes and scenery, the friendship and love between the two male leads, the Jiang siblings, the sacrifice wwx makes, and the villain who you can't hate no matter how cruel they were. You can learn so many good life lessons from this story. I lost count on how many times I've watched the untamed and it's been like this for two years now. The Untamed is still my favorite drama of all time.
Omg this story is so complicated. I don't know if this is true or not but they said that tet (good man) and wat (bad boy) actually switched since they were born at the hospital. So tet is actually wat father's real son and wat is tet parent's real son? Because why would a father try to kill his son?. Is it because wat is not his real son???. Maybe this is the reason why both wat and tet's soul switch so they could go back to their real family.
I think tet in wat's body will eventually fall for ginney and wat in tet's body will maybe change his personality and slowly fall for kulanij too. What happens if at the end tet and wat switch to their original body again?.

At first I didn't think they'd do such thing to him because if this gets worse later on I think this will only be like a love and hate relationship between xfx and them. I'm afraid the drama will only be less popular and if this happens it is the stupidest decision the drama and IQIYI has ever made. Are they stupid? They clearly know that what they are doing will only anger xfx or they think xfx is stupid and will only stay silent even if they bully xz?. After 227 and the red sea on tencent video all star night award. I don't want to believe that they really don't care about xfx purchasing power and xz's feelings when they know they can earn millions of money from xfx. Why would they do such a thing?.
