SOKP is one of the best dramas this year, I wouldnt really compare it. But i think this drama is also worth watching and very emotional..

I think i would have liked the characters if everything didnt feel so unconnecting. I feel like there was something missing from the start to even feel anything about it.

This drama was so raw.
I felt that it showed the agony and the real battle between clans very well. There were so many tears that fell throughout the episodes, but it showed how everyone was hurting and the pain, chaos and agony these fights and death (etc.) leave.

Each one of the characters felt relevant. No matter which side they were on, the show showed they were all human and had someone they cared for. Trying to live despite these wounds in our hearts.
In a sense, they were all a main character. 

If they had used all of the shows potential it would have been perfect.

I'm on EP07 and I spoiled myself already because i was just too curious but but I just dont feel any affection from shangguan qian to Gong Shang jue...

if the movie was longer it might have been better. It eas too ruched and not enough explaining
