what stood out to me were the tensions like the scene with the ministers and the empress. The tension of the room (highlighhted by the BGM) the fear they had you could even see sweat dripping and how they moved. good transmission, and clear distinction between characters and positions
I always knew of the hype of NIF but I was reluctant of watching it because I was afraid that with this many episodes (and especially politics) it would get draggy or boring. I can only say how wrong I was. It really is a masterpiece!! once you start you wont be able to stop.
The plot is well written, there is no endless dragging and sheming. There are no stupid characters (in a sense of logic). The cast fits each character perfectly.
Mei Chang Su. That name alone made me feel lonely somehow.
Im on ep 35 and I aleady dread that it will end soon. The plot is well written. The politics/shemes don't feel forced (such as many shows) and I dont need to comment on the great acting.
mindblown.... I never thought I would be left this impressed since its hard for me to watch something without loosing interest but with this drama I had completely no urge of skipping a scene and was totally engaged. i didnt want to binge because i wanted to enjoy it longer but I couldnt stop watching
mixed feelings with this drama. it was good but the always plotting against FL was too much for me and unreasonable. It has very typical palace/family shemes plot but the drama has a good execution than others that i have seen. would have been better with less episodes.
WOW this is how it should be. they loved each other until the end. no toxicity, abuse or misunderstanding, very pure and wholeheartedly. Amazing characters, expecially Zhou Sheng Chen.
