I always knew of the hype of NIF but I was reluctant of watching it because I was afraid that with this many episodes (and especially politics) it would get draggy or boring. I can only say how wrong I was. It really is a masterpiece!! once you start you wont be able to stop.
The plot is well written, there is no endless dragging and sheming. There are no stupid characters (in a sense of logic). The cast fits each character perfectly.
Mei Chang Su. That name alone made me feel lonely somehow.
Im on ep 35 and I aleady dread that it will end soon. The plot is well written. The politics/shemes don't feel forced (such as many shows) and I dont need to comment on the great acting.
mindblown.... I never thought I would be left this impressed since its hard for me to watch something without loosing interest but with this drama I had completely no urge of skipping a scene and was totally engaged. i didnt want to binge because i wanted to enjoy it longer but I couldnt stop watching
mixed feelings with this drama. it was good but the always plotting against FL was too much for me and unreasonable. It has very typical palace/family shemes plot but the drama has a good execution than others that i have seen. would have been better with less episodes.
WOW this is how it should be. they loved each other until the end. no toxicity, abuse or misunderstanding, very pure and wholeheartedly. Amazing characters, expecially Zhou Sheng Chen.

I usually skip parts in chinese drama but NOT IN THIS ONE. I eagerly waited for new episodes and even watched the raws
AND ONE OF THE BEST POINTs are That the story doesnt have useless exaggerated misunderstandings or love triangle or backstabbing. Other dramas tend to drag out the plot with useless stuff and questionable plot writing
In my eyes the characters show truly loving someone and supporting them even if not by their side. No useless stuff. genuinely.

They dont communicate and only misunderstand, makes one question if they even know each other. Typical 'make 1 misunderatanding into 10' (what I at least found positive is that FL owns up to her mistakes)
