this is one of these series which are nonsensical but this was fine for a quick watch to pass time and learn the language. Its watchable if you dont think about anything deeply.
I deliberatly didnt binge this because i didnt want it to come to an end and I am usually the type to binge watch (and hard to please lol). Everything was beautiful. I originally started watching this because of zhao lusi and leo Wu but each role left an lasting impression on me and I feel happy to have watched this masterpiece but sad at the same time because it came to an end. But thinking about Cheng Shao Shang and Buyi my heart feels warm and content.
I still don’t have the courage to move on from this drama.
usually I would binge a drama if I love it but I dont have have the courage to finish it so I wait for the youtube episode releases to savor the last episodes 😭
The cast is not so impressive. The flow wasnt so great at times. I expected something more intriguing but this drama is rather not too serious. Often most of the characters are stupid, cant take the plot serious. I am not finished yet tho., idk if i will.
Still, I am happy with the fact that they did a fantasy historical elements concept drama and hope more korean production teams will follow.
Woo young Woo for sure is extraordinary, but this drama wasnt.
The beginning episodes of the drama were promising until the middle of the drama where it was kinda boring until the last two episodes which were better. Case after case and no major plot. These cases dont differ too much to other cases of other law dramas and the plot nothing new besides an autistic attorney (not that its bad). The drama has no intriguing plot so its more for people who want something easy to watch. I know its all about WYW but a drama needs more then 1 person to function so they should have given more effort to the other characters.
Its very hard to come across a good drama like this one.
- a smart and mature FL, a very supporting ML (a smart FL that doesn't get dumb at the second half of the series) - no plot dragging, or useless drama - the supporting roles can carry the show without the main characters, it doesnt get boring - great acting, top cinemathography - chen xiao as ML, are there even more words needed?
This is a more mature and about woman empowermenmt slice of life if you want action then this is not for you.
I really love the novel, I have no patience.

(I didnt have any urges to skip a scene which is usually the case for me)
