from tencent it's scheduled to be one of the dramas that airs this year, but no other updates so far

just finished watching.. was really interesting! i liked it so far except last epi felt a bit corny and over the top with the melodramatic music and the we are heroes slogan over and over lol

i heard a rumor also that yang yang doesn't want to accept anymore wuxia/古装 dramas because people keep focusing on his looks and don't think he can be in a serious non-idol drama, but maybe in the future he will be in a more serious one :)

yes, I also heard a lot of complaints about that from people.. how instead of it being a typical wuxia it was all CGI/body doubles/flashes of their faces. although I think that's not fair because you can't expect them to learn wuxia for months just for one scene lol. this was definitely the production team's fault for advertising it differently

well tbh i'm not a huge fan of either yang yang or ZLS. Although i've watched a few of their dramas before I'm not a big fan of either celebrity so when I started watching I was just focused more on plot and I liked how this was supposed to be a female-lead centric drama. but the more I watched the more it felt more male-centric and how he keeps coming to the rescue and I just stopped watching because it felt like a typical idol drama
