well "the only issues so far i see is plot" for alot of people if the plot isn't good then the drama isn't good...why watch a drama if the plot isn't good unless it's just for pretty faces? anyways i don't like or dislike this drama, i dropped it about halfway through and i just saw the supertopic about plagarism pop up on weibo

yes, apparently they were together and then broke up during the writing of the film, and even after it was released the producer hid the director's name from alot of scenes lol. so even before it was released alot of chinese netizens were anticipating it to not be very good, but it seems to be doing really great internationally

on chinese platforms alot of people seem to dislike it, there was a weibo topic trending earlier today about it for plagarism. i think most of the dislikes stem from the fact that it was called a "wuxia" drama when it's mostly an idol drama but in a wuxia setting. but it seems to be very popular internationally

i think it's about a FL who's an assassin called Ning Jin Hai from this assassination organization called Bai Yu Jin and she's undercover in the palace? ZYC plays this mysterious person (sorry that's what they used to describe him in the video i watched lol) and then the 2nd FL is an assassin who tries to escape the assassin life, and then after she "dies" becomes a servant who's focused on revenge.. not sure how accurate all that is
