I think there was some controversy over Coco's suicide :( because she was a judge in the previous season and there was some drama around how she didn't the way her contestant was being treated and how the producer was speaking to her, and then I think Zhou Hua Jian (one of the judges) ended up leaving too, so it was just cancelled
