I meant wtf, but real... I think she connected a bit to much with the granny who reminded her of her mom. That said I don’t dusagree with you. I was surprised they chose to write it that way. Part of me saw it more like... some things go deeper than others... if you get what I mean. It added layers to the situation.

Oh I wanted to choke her there too, but the fact that the situation was brought up that way made me love the show. I hated everything about that situation! About the brother he had gotten EVERYTHING and now he wanted more when she had litterally nothing and was in trouble at that moment... The way the grandma acted when it came to the dad made my blood boil too... and the brother of the girl like seriously wtf???

I know nothing about the fandom but agree that some parts were really bad (especially the drunken stuff). I do mention them but I think the relationship between the girls, the situation in the hospital that was so hard to watch but really important... + Im Siwan in the wet t-shirt nade up for most of it... ha ha... yes I am shallow sometimes.

I am a succer for bad parants who get to stay bad... and liked several of the characters... but I guess some had to grow on me too so I get it.

They made it work pretty well... so I would say more of a unconventional household...
there is a lot if IKEA atuff out there, but all the Swedish posters in this took the cake.

I was not really impressed by the female lead but the second female lead and well of course the male lead made up for it.. ha ha... I may have a huge crush on Lee Jun Young and be a sucker for this type of dramas that I can overlook most of the flaws... There was one duett that I think the female or was it the male lead that they sing in the variety show that I completely fell for too it played on loop for a while... it is not one of those happy songs... I agree about points 1-4 too 😘

Oh Our Beloved Summer is such a good drama. And keep up rambling, rambling is nice 🤭 I would say dramas pretty much saved me too as I started watching them when I experienced a complete burn out and have used writing about them as rehab... now almost 3 years later I am almost back on my feet and just started working again. So I don't know how much energy I will have for writing but if you include the articles I am currently working on I have over 30 of them... yaikes... ha ha... Congratulations on your first solo 👏👏👏 👏👏 my view is people often demand gratitude from others in dramaland which really pises me off... I have struggled quite a bit with the idea of gratitude and how it can be used to control or guilt people in to stuff... However that said I do agree thar the feeling wanting to express gratitude that comes from within and results in a small act can be both touching and pretty ❤️

You are very right about that, indeed responding with love is probably the more mature way to go and indeed it takes time for people to change.

I chose to turn the tables here, mostly for fun, but also because the most common way to interpret the hug is that it is a show of empathy, however if you look at it from a different angle there are other ways to interpret that hug. By saying the opposite of what one would expect it can either make people think or make them laugh. I was hoping for the laugh as this was purely made for entertainment purposes.

I am not really sure what you mean by a product of 21st century, but I do agree that you can not fix anything or anyone by forcing them. I do however believe that most of what is problematic now also was problematic then, people where just not aweare of it being problematic. What is ok now may turn out to be problematic in the future. There is also an issue of where it is problematic, in what way, for who and why... since these things are complex. But I did not take any of this into consideration as I was just messing around when I made this. So it could very well be problematic. So thanks for bringing it to my attention.
