Sweet and informative
This is a short sweet slice of drama, One that shows the importance of finding meaning and belonging as well as people who will appreciate you just the way you are. Not because of piti or duty or some kind of inspirational story. But because of who one truly is.
As for our leads the smiles, the way one them eats and two completely different approaches to pure and honset are a pleasure to watch.
While I admit some parts of this drama felt more like an educational than a drama, and one of our male leads does have som impuls/anger issues. I still felt like I could love each character as well as what they contributed to the story. Offering very spot on scenes about life with a disability and the different ways people partly cope but also the many ways sociaty contributes to ones silence and life harder than it should be.
Having a soft spot for dramas that show people with disabilities as more than becoming the disability (even if the disability took a lot of space I did feel that the true story was more about living rather than surviving, friendship and of course romance.
The drama also seems to want to send a message that there are different types of intelligence, different paths to take and that what works for one person may not work for another there is also av very clear message about how hard it can be to communicate and understand not only the sender (hearing or not) but also ones self.
