This is a great drama though, as you can see by the comments.

But even if it's good for some people, it might not be for others. I say, try and watch the show if you like and don't watch if it's not your thing.

This is why I don't bother with reviews of dramas.

Anyone see some parallel there with NYZ working with LTG and possibly teaching him a thing or two and with Ruyi and Yang Ying at the beginning?

Remember Yang Ying said you just need to be nice to NYZ and he's a softie. LTG has his pride but I hope he make some lasting friends. The guy could use a few.

I think there's gonna be a CP for NYZ and LTG sometime. NYZ poking LTG where it hurts though... 😅

Funniest is Sun Lang - I haven't join the scarlet guard yet at that time. No, I mean Liudao hall. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

NYZ and Ruyi - I knew their relationship would move forward after the last two episodes.

NYZ is just the man most women would love to meet - transcending time and space. I want a 100% lookalike NYZ so I can dress him up in Liudao hall uniform please. 😅 And I'm not delulu.

LTG - I knew he would come around. I never thought he would be the villain. I think he looks up to his master (regardless of his obsession) too much to go that route.

I actually feel bad for him. He has no friends and has been alone (lonely) for so long. He misses the closeness with his master. Sometimes, I feel he acted like Yang Ying and Yuanlu... Childish.

My theories -

1. The wedding was planned to cover other plans.

2. LTG may become regent(?) to 3rd prince of An

3. Some of the crew had to escort the king of Wu back. This would explain why there's no scenes of some of them in the big battle(s). My hope anyway.

Kudos to Yang Ying - she did great in ep 22!

Plot is picking up and I can't wait to watch the rest.

Sometimes you can't have everything. I remember the stunning sceneries in Tribes and Empires and I dropped it when there's no 2nd season.
