I feel like the main reason I'm rooting for childhood friend is because of how long he's been in the unrequited love zone, and I feel for him so much.

Maybe not rooting for him in the sense that he and Deok Mi end up together, but more that she acknowledges his feelings.

Ok ep 3 ending -- Ryan, you've convinced me. I'm rooting for you. (although I'm also rooting for her childhood friend...? decisions decisions)

Also I'm shocked to see so many comments about how Min Young's character here is the same as WWWSK... like, they have some similar traits, but otherwise, they're pretty different characters... Just imagine Mi So being a sasaeng and fangirling over an idol. It's totally out of line with her character, lol...

Mhmm, well I hope you decide to give it a try. It's definitely not lost its Waikiki vibes, and I personally find it even funnier than the first so far.

Making it similar concept like School or Reply series would've potentially lost those Waikiki vibes imo. I only liked one drama from each of the School and Reply series for example. I'm glad they decided to go with a more sequel-esque route for Waikiki.
