7/10; it was entertaining for all the wrong reasons. It's mainly supposed to be comedic, but the drama was so forced and over the top; didn't mesh well with the comedic elements. I found myself laughing during all the supposedly "emotional" scenes due to the execution.
The OST was really nice though~
If you're watching this because of the director, just know it's nothing like Train to Busan lol
I thought I was gonna hate this because I really hate Chief Baek in the webtoon and I read it only because of…
He really is adorable! (Jun ho) Honestly rooting for him too, Baek just seems way too old for Roo Da. Although Jun Ho seems slightly young for her, I think it's a much better pairing than with Baek. Sadly I can't ever recall second lead getting the girl :\
But in the drawing had 4 people, if the girl is jk so who is the extra boy?
The "extra" boy is a girl, Moo Young/Sun Ho couldn't really draw gender distinguishing features at that point, so he easily mistook it for a boy, but it's actually his younger sister, not brother.
After ep 14 I don't know how I feel anymore..... what the fuck
Also Jin Gook knew this entire time and didn't say a thing. And I'm still dumbfounded as to his reasoning to stab Moo Young. If it was to prevent an incestual relationship, I DON'T KNOW, MAYBE USING WORDS WOULD'VE HELPED.
I'm especially worried when Moo Young tells Jin Kang "no matter what happens, to me you're just you".
I'm quite confused on what you meant by "to him?"
Everyone is aware that Jin Kang and Jin Gook are not related at this point; that's not what Moo Young was talking about. I don't wanna say more in case you haven't seen the latest episode though.
yall are crazy, this drama is so funny and amazing.
Personally thought it could have done without the dark thriller element, but overall it was still a very entertaining drama.
Minorities on this site (or in general) tend to be very vocal for popular high rated dramas that appeal towards more casual fans sadly; really typical for people to jump on hate bandwagons. But ratings reflect more on how most people actually feel, and they loved it judging by the 8.8 score.
I feel kind of bad for dropping this at episode 10 just because she broke up with Cho Rong. I know it was obvious…
I mean if you don't like the lead pairing, I'd keep it dropped as it really focuses on the two. You can look up scenes of their more intimate moments if you still have doubts on picking it back up otherwise.
That said, I'm really curious as to what people see/saw in Cho Rong. Aside from liking him more than Moo Young due to not liking Moo Young, how does Cho Rong by himself capture viewers' attention? He's a good person, but I found him incredibly boring as a character.
Only three eps? Sad :(
Another teaser <3
