Ok, now that things are mostly cleared regarding identities...just how messed up is Sung Yeon's memory? Does he have dementia? It doesn't seem like he's doing it on purpose... perhaps he has such an inferiority complex, at some point he convinced himself he lost track of himself and "became" Young Joon?
Really glad Young Joon is deciding to express his feelings for Mi So more openly now. Hopefully she fully realizes it's him after getting all that caramel candy, and speaking with his mom. and YESSS THEY FINALLY KISS
Also Se Ra x Yang Cheol and Ji Ah x Gwi Nam are such great side couples, I can't get enough of them! Gwi Nam and his mouth zipping lmao
There goes Chil Sung breaking my heart again at the end of episode 26. Poong kept getting interrupted when he…
I'm kind of confused about that hospital director part too, and yeah it was about $100.
It might've been out of guilt, or possibly he just didn't enjoy it. Or maybe he just wants nothing to do with Hungry Wok since the hotel supports his hospital lol.
Either way, I didn't like how that scene unfolded. These people so corrupt
personally i feel like she shut him down pretty clearly
First time -- she rejected him, telling him she's married.
Second time -- she rejected him, listing all her faults as to avoid hurting him
Third time -- she rejected him, saying her feelings for him aren't that of love, but rather of gratefulness, and that she likes someone else. She also apologizes for accepting his kiss, because she was very confused at the time and unsure whether her feelings were out of love or not.
I don't see how any of these are "cruel". She quite literally flat out told him no on multiple occasions. She tried her best not to hurt him in the process of doing so, but what rejection isn't going to be painful? However, a painful rejection=/=cruel on her end.
There can be many lessons taken from her actions, and the most notable one probably is: it doesn't matter if guy 1 is much better in every way than guy 2; what matters is how you feel about them. Sae Woo even tells Poong everything she'd dislike about a man, features he all has, and yet, she still likes him. And that's okay, that's love.
Is Chil Sung a great guy? Yes. Does it suck it doesn't work out for him and Sae Woo? Yes. But you know, that's just how life is; not everything always works out the way we intend. And this is why I enjoy Wok of Love (and Jealousy Incarnate). This writer always includes real life problems as an undertone to all the over-the-top ploys and settings.
This kind of ended up longer than I expected--sorry lol
Also loved the OST when they were taking shelter under the cabin; around 1:04:20I hope that's in the OST released…
I'm talking about the OST when they're taking shelter (there's no singing). It's much after the song you linked. I wrote time frame, but maybe the time is off for different streams. It's after the spider thing
Funny you say that--I was watching with friend, and said this episode really reminded me of comedy anime lol. (although I enjoyed that aspect, shame that it wasn't to your taste though)
Episode 7 has probably been my favorite episode so far! Great balance between comedic moments and serious ones. The comedy was so over the top this ep, it was almost parodical, and I loved every second of it.
- Literally every scene with Ji Ah and Gwi Nam was gold. - Young Joon's entrance to the mountain -- followed by that old couple walking by. - the 2PM reference! "What is PPM? I only know of 2PM!" HAHA - Se Ra's breast pad falling, the dramatic music was GOLD. and then slow-mo of Yang Cheol running off. (I hope these two become a couple lol) - the awkward silences and head nods between Young Joon and Mi So - the music change when Young Joon came to Mi So with his jacket
I couldn't get into season 2, feels way too different compared to season 1. The only ep I liked in s2 was ep 1--which was pretty comedy heavy compared to the other eps.
Too difficult trying to take Yoo Eun Jae seriously, when new actress has this dumbfounded blank smile expression on her half the time. Doesn't feel like Eun Jae at all...

I can't blame Bo Ra too much, since she's that timid, scared type of person, but the head chef, CEO, and his "friend" are some scum!

I haven't laughed this hard since Waikiki.
Even School 2015 was corrupt, but it wasn't this ridiculous
