I'm trying my very best to like this because of JJS and KSH (discovered and loved him in Strongest deliveryman)…
Honestly, I feel like it's the script/her character. There's not many redeeming factors to Ji An so far. Hopefully this next case she gets to redeem herself. I found her alright for the first few eps, but after that kidnapping incident... ehh; her character was too much of a 'damsel in distress' archetype, and that's not too appealing given her personality.
It was a bit sad towards the end, but this movie didn't flesh out the characters enough for me to be invested in any of them.
The overlying message about the corruption of the government and power wasn't done well enough in the sense that it was more directed towards people's naivete in trusting obvious coverups to social disruption, despite the evidence of disaster unfolding before them. This leads to a lot of fault in the people as well, not only the government.
I agree with all of them except Fight for my way. That was almost my favorite Korean drama this year! ^^
Agree! I think most people that disliked FFMW is because of the slice of like nature of the show. Nothing incredibly 'exciting' happens, but just characters that try their best to reach their dreams. For me, this was very moving and relatable on many levels.
Wow I just started this, and my god there's a lot of annoying characters. I'm reading older comments, and contemplating…
I went through 50 episodes of watching side characters bully the main lead couple for such an unsatisfying ending.
Why did nobody slap the shit out of Yeon Ah? How is she still in the industry? After all the fucking shit she put everyone through, she only gives a half-assed apology to Jun ho? Like bitch, what about Soon Shin? Truck-kun, I have a wish for Christmas: please air a 1 episode sequel where you run over Yeon Ah, tyvm.

Jun ho's sister and Choi Yeon Ah are the worst.
edit: I hate every character except Jun ho, the 3 sisters, the restaurant manager, and Chan woo lmao edit2: episode 34 and I hate everyone but Jun ho....Soon shin needs to stand up for herself; it's really infuriating.
This was such a beautiful drama. I don't think I've loved the entire cast of a drama before (well except Mr. Park, screw that jerkface). Every character was a joy to watch; I especially loved the two mothers.
I love how it touches on so many different life issues, and embraces them as problems anyone can have, and that nobody should be ashamed of. Truly a masterpiece. I think it just took over as my all time favorite drama.
Then who was the older detective? Detective Kang? I thought he was the 1980's teacher grown old!! But how…
Whoa, didn't expect a reply so fast replying to a 3 month old comment! :^)
There were only 2 realities (I think), the present and the past, but as Ji Hwan saw the future, he could change the past, which also caused the future to change. So both realities kept changing.
If you're planning on rewatching though, I don't wanna spoil more if you forgot the details!
Relatively slow start, but picks up very fast towards the middle. Great movie.
Still love this drama, but I wish some plot points got explored more in depth.

edit: half an ep in... I just can't. Idk where the plot is trying to go, but it's much too chaotically random.

Lol, I'm so angry
Love you ♥ xoxo
sometimes I question his 159 IQ, but his stupidity at times is also very cute lol

more commas, less me LOL
A great movie to get into Korean media! I'll probably rewatch it in the near future.
