I loved this drama and I think the actors did amazing job and had great chemistry. The plot itself dragged on but the actors made the show worthwhile by keeping us entertained with their back-and-forth bickering and flirting.
actors were great and had great chemistry with FL esp that soldier lady and the BF. I loved the action scenes and skipped to watch those. Friendship between FL and soldier lady was solid. I loved how the two of them partnered up to take down bad guys. The romance between FL and BF was also so fresh. However, plot-wise this drama was all over the place and made no sense. Like with most k-dramas, the episodes were filled with filler scenes between meaningless side-characters with barely any development. Overall, this drama lacked direction and could have been a lot better.
The MLs in kdramas are usually simp, giving women everywhere unrealistic expectations of men. No man will wait…
Yeah, the fetishization of Korean men is stupid and so harmful. Because 1) Korean men aren't all like they are portrayed in kdramas. In reality, Korean society is incredibly cutthroat, plagued with issues like sexism, classism, colorism, and corruption. As a result, many Korean men are not only conservative but also anti-feminist. Google it and you'll see so many articles about this. So it depends on the person and it's stupid to assume that a Korean dude will treat you like a princess just because you saw it on TV. 2) Some people say it's racist. IDK about that but I think it's unfair to Korean men if you're only dating them to live out some K-drama fantasy. It's okay to want a kdrama-esque romance but don't stereotype a race and have unrealistic expectations.

I genuinely love kdrama MLs but I do think it's unrealistic for someone to wait 8 years for true love. It's either *sincere* true love or more likely a dangerous obsession. But, in this case, I'm not sure ML was waiting for the FL. Maybe he just didn't have the social skills or time to meet someone new? He seems all about work - even when he met his friend he was talking about a case. I do agree that she shouldn't have left him. That was so stupid and selfish. Like why marry a rich person if you love someone else?
So, she is lawyer, and she gave her stamp her mother-in-law ? How can she continue her job with this kind of stupidity?…
Exactly, I don't get how she could trust her MIL with her seal seeing her MIL treats her like garbage and doesn't consider her family. Like how could someone be so naive and trusting? If someone treated me like that, I wouldn't hand them anything as important as a personal seal.
It's kinda boring and I don't like the FL for being extremely meek and submissive. I was fuming at the way the Mother-In-Law and husband mistreated her, and I expected her to get angry and lash out. However, FL was like cold tea ... she didn't emulate strong enough emotions, and only cried weakly and questioned her husband's actions. I wanted more passionate acting from the FL and wanted to see more outrage and heartbreak. I'd expect someone in that situation to be very emotional, yet strong, and determined. Or I'd expect her to be cold and calculating. But this FL was neither, and I just couldn't find her character realistic.
This drama is really boring and repetitive. NOTHING ever happens. It's the same thing over and over again - Jo Yong Pil being down bad while Cho Sam Dal playing dumb and stuttering and being in denial while Cho Sang Do is super jealous of how close they are. Like how can they keep up the same exact dynamic for 10 EPISODES? I had high hopes for this drama but I'm really so dissapointed.
ALSO why do the villagers not have a life? They just can't stop gossiping about Cho Sam Dal and Jo Yong Pil like wtf please get a life. Why are y'all so invested in someone else's love life and don't have anything else to talk about? The side characters have no screen presence and literally. only exist to tell the audience information. Still it's so embarrassing, unrealistic, and pathetic that they don't have anything else going in their lives.
This show started off strong but it lost traction so quick and there's nothing new happening. I really regret waiting 10 episodes to drop this show. I shouldn't have wasted my time.
I don't understand how people can expect the chemistry between FL and ML to be romantic in such a war zone creature…
personally I enjoy action romances because it doesn't get too cheesy or boring. I feel like emotions are heightened during stressful situations, which makes it easier to get attached to people. I didn't mind the romance and am one of the few people who found it enjoyable.
I finally finished all 7 episodes and quite enjoyed them. However, the show starts a bit slow, especially the…
yeah, exactly! Too many people have said that the romance is bad but I quite enjoyed it. Since this isn't a romantic drama, I was expecting any romance scenes at all. I do hope we get more PSJ x HSH development in future episodes.
