Bad, "Baddest" Worst
Ok, I needed to join this community after watching this show because I had to write a review. I read the other reviews and I thought, everyone have their likes and dislikes, so I will give it a go. And boy were you guys correct. Having my toes nail pull would be sooo much more enjoyable. There is so much wrong with this show, that there is not any instances where I can say there was at least one part which was enjoyable. Even the eye candies could not save this. BL Theme
I like the story of college students exploring their different aspects of career through interning. My 5 star rating is that this should not have been promoted as a BL story line but more of with BL character and the behind the scence of advertisements production. I like looking at great ads and Iam aware those 2 minutes ads takes a lot of work. Now showing something like how the actors in their various intership roles having to take part in the creation of an ad from start to end in funny way would have been entertaining. Vampires?
When I saw the promo for this I was a bit excited, BL vampires. I should have leave this where it was, on the internet. The story was ridiculous, the so call comedy aspect of the story was ridiculous and even though vampires are mythical, I want vampires as I know sexy, fierce and strong. I really dont know what this was and I am a masocist, so I finished it. Lee and Frank you need better management because this is the 3rd show I watch you as lead and " three strikes and you're out". The characters of Zen and Ran story were cute but with questions.So, would I recommend you watch, ahh NO but you can at your own sanity.

A Puzzle with Mismatched Pieces
Look, I know this show is based on a book, so if they did the script exactly from the book, I can't fully blame the director. The fault lies with the author of the book for writing such c*ap, the writers who read the book and thought it made sense to put on screen such c*ap and finally the producer who think that putting beautiful people in such a crappy script show would dazzle fans away from the crappiness of the show. It is worth A Watch
I always come to MDL for review before I watch a show and for the majority the people doing the reviews are on point. I have skipped shows because you guys said it sucked. But on this one I am sorry I have to disagree with the low ratings. No, it is not the greatest show or even a show that is worth a rewatch ( unlessyou are absolutely bored) but it is worth a watch.From my point:
Story: Elise is a boss who I think his ego ( not his heart) got hurt when the man he was dating, Run, cheated on him. So, he stepped into a friend with benefits relationship with Khim. Then he meets Pat, who stirred his heart and brought out his true feelings of love but he is scared of putting his heart out to Pat because he dont know what to expect from Pat ( who is madly in love with him). He know what to expect from Khim ( comfort and a booty call) and from Run ( got cheated on). So when Pat told him he like him he became overly protected ( jealous and annoying) but still reserved because he stopped sleeping with Khim but used him for comfort, which Khim allows because he is also in love with Elise.
Pat on the other hand is a man who is in 5une with his feelings and self worth but is also a mon who is madly in ove with Elise and knows only what he sees the relationship is with Elise and Khim, so when Elise give him an opening he steps in and bears his heart and when Khim comes around he step back because he feels that's what Elise wants and he wants to be happy for him.
What makes Elise the bad guy is, he knows he love Pat, and Pat loves him but because of his ego he shows him instead of telling him which confuses and hurt Pat. Elise's actions are confusing especially when he hangs out with Khim (just eating and drinking) and Pat dont know what they are doing and Elise does not clarify, until he almost lost Pat.
The overall story is typical and the other characters are people who just don't understand the word "No".
But the show is an ok watch, they are worst.

I Really Wanted to Like This
This is 8 episode which I would binge watch in a day. This took me 3 days to complete. It could not grab my attention. The story was okay because I can see high school kids acting like this. My opinion for so many years pass before reconnecting is because the writer wanted to show two teenagers who fell in love and did not understand it. The parted, have successful careers but still is missing a big part of their lives, each other. Their history being told in sporadic flashback was confusing and boring. This particular story should have been told, yes showing them as adults in their careers but the flashbacks should have been done as it's own complete section and then goes into them as adult and their path to reconciliation. What I watched felt disjointed and the second and third couple needed some more storyline.The acting I honestly can't seem to find the words to explain it not being bad but not being good either. The actors' smiles appear more as placement ads than anything else. There dont seem to be the level of vibes to show the viewer I am crazy in love but I dont want that person to know until their feelings can be verified.
Yes, I needed that stimulant flashing light to capture my attention and this didn't have it. I even forgot what the story was about a I write this review and this was immediately after watching the last episode.

Not A Romance
I read many of the reviews for this show and after watching it, I conclude it is ok-ish. First this is not a romance. It has the elements of romance but for me does not fit the definition of a romance show. I like the story but wish it was scripted and directed better. This acting was on a middle school level--- lots of overreacting and the actors look like they're actually were acting, not in a complementary way. There is not much character embodiment, so not much character development, things just happened. Only the grandma seems like the genuine character, and the MLs their relationship is of two characters with no substance. A person hugging a tree has more romance than these two characters even after stupid 5 year time leap.... no romance.Was this review helpful to you?
The most Precious Gem
My review is watch it. It is worth your time. There are aspect where I thought the writers may have been drunk when they wrote it but for some reason the "drunk" writing worked. There are numerous BL out there trying to pass themselves off as good shows, this one is in my top 20 with KinnPorch, Advance Bravely, I told Sunset About You etc. So Watch it.Was this review helpful to you?
