Yes! I totally agree with you and its actually all the points you have mentioned that made me drop the show after 1st episode. Ep 1 first 15 min were so amazing, I felt he should stay in Italy and we see everyday life of him there. After arriving to Korea I couldn't get myself to see the silly stupid antics happening to a feared Italian mafia. Also, the other points you have mentioned..EXACTLY MY THOUGHTS... OMG!!! This show does pick momentum after 4th ep, by 6th ep I was totally hooked. This show creeps on you.
The mother-son conversation in the park is so heartbreaking and tearjerking. I have watched that scene 4-5 times but still can't stop myself from getting tear-eyed. THEY ARE BRILLIANT!

I have never said the villians have not gotton their win. My point is those wins were not significant. They caused absolutely no damage to Vincenzo . Also After the Pig blood Bath scene. I expected "All hell will break lose" from Jun woo's side. Like physco killer type but he appeared calm. And when they found his weakness they killed her. Like what!! What are they gaining from killing her. Babel is constantly struggling to keep itself from collapsing. How killing that fragile lady solves their problem. Ok, Junwoo is Physco but atleast the prosecutor could have thought ahead. Now, they have just unleashed Vincenzo's rage and are probably gonna meet their Doom very soon.

much older- young romance . . But here the age gap is not that problematic. This show is fun and light.. A good one time watch
