This series wove lots of different threads together so well. The very (very!) sad back story. The supernatural element, the mystery solving element, the central love story. The lead couple were a delight. I have never hung out for a happy ending so much in any BL before.
So much more than the usual (often delightful, I have to say) fluff. Classical Thai desserts - as beautiful as they are delicious; as opposed to the usual cotton candy. The desserts were the metaphorical heart of this story. You'll get an emotional workout with this one and you'll enjoy every moment.
