I think it would be nice for a change to make him play challenging roles. I seen some actors/actresses in Thai…
There's a lot of challenging roles that James can play that does not involve cheating. Cheating roles are easy as hell, it's easy to be a jerk on screen. I'd rather him play a plain Ole jerk (with a great character ark) than a jerk who is a cheater.
Why ?In my opinion, this is the best adaptation of the novel (I totally prefer it to the 2008 version)
Oh, that's really disappointing, I didn't like the 2008 ver, cuz of the butchered plot and for the fact that there's r*pe in it. I really wanted to watch this instead of the 2008 ver, lol.
Liking this kind of drama and giving it a high rating does in no way reflect on how people handle their relationship…
If you want a kinda similar ML character then watch the last empress, both has player ML, both are manipulative but both dramas are not the same with it comes to the FL's character and the drama plot. My first recommendation is jus a bunch of drama with unlikable male leads that grows to be loved by every watcher, it does not have a similar plot.

The ML is "almost" a replica, they both were just written so badly, it's so hard to like em. Try; husband in law, my forever sunshine, love Destiny, and U-Prince: The crazy Artist < this one is actually the best executed (less cliche) U-Prince series part, the ML is likable and is sweet, it's easy to "kinda" hate him but you can't just find any reason to not like him.
In Husband in law, the guy is initially unlikable cuz of the way he treats the FL, but he's the kind of character you will grow to love and not "hate more" as the story progresses.
Forever sunshine's ML is unlikable, at first, but doesn't hurt the FL for no reason, the FL is really clingy and unlikable and does a lot of unthinkable things to get what she want thus why the ML had the reason to hate her, the ML is flawed but gradually gets better as the story progresses.
Love Destiny has the "ML" that everyone will like, he is a lil bit harsh at first but doesn't do anythin that hurts the FL emotionaly and physically..

If you meant the latter then I have the drama for you, Roy Lae sanae luang, the ML in there is almost a replica of the ML in this drama, but minus the continous cheating part.
Also, Push did an absolutely wonderful job of making me hate his character
I agree, he's a good actor, but the character he was portraying here is a shame to his acting skills, it's a mediocre character, there's no depth in what his character is as a person but they did let us know that he's a jerk, so far that's the only personality that I found in Sibtis, sigh.

It was not "well executed", this drama actually gives shame to Push and Esther's acting skills, it's mediocre, the plot is not that original, the way they "fell inlove" is a common scenes in romance dramas, and the "cheating" scene, is jus as common as people eating cereals, like... It's not even original, cheating is uncool, like... It's soooo in the 80's, if u want to hurt someone's feelings, try to do smthin creative, smthn that people still haven't seen, sigh.
Do not let your own personal bias or morals distract you from seeing that this is a good drama. Do I support this…
I won't say "realistic" since it's not, it's a typical lacorn that has overbearing ML's (+cheating), I agree with calling it a "reality check" for the fact that "people cheat, and the only thing you can do is stay away from those kind of people", but it's not realistic enough cuz instead of ending the drama on a good note; Boy regrets and leaves the girl alone, girl find happiness by herself and lives to know what she should go to and stray away from, < instead of ending it like that, jus like how most realistic dramas ends "it", they ended it on a really fucked up note where the gurl forgives and the boy barely gets any karma from his wrong doings, he's fuckn proud of "cheating", "her" embarrassing "him" is barely any punishment to him. π
It sucks what he did, but that's the reality; some people act like that, and you can't change that. Real-life…
Not a lesson really since no one learnt anything (Ahem, the ML), it taught the FL the harsh reality of love, and taught the ML that he can do whatever and not get enough punishments for it.
Wow,that would be awesome! Just tell us when you start and send us the link! This is a great telserya and i will…
Thank you, I was already planning on this for so long but haven't gotten the chance to actually do so, I was rewatching it yesterday and read a lot of comments about its English sub and I thought, sure I'll do it, anyways, I'm starting on it and I'll be sure to send the link. :)
