That's true but I'm one of those who can't wait in anticipation.If I am left hanging at an episode and the next one comes tomorrow, that waiting period becomes unbearable to me. So I mostly wait till a drama is aired completely. Then binge it in a couple of days.

You can start either with The Last Tomb or Reunion season 1 or Candle in the Tomb. I would recommend TLT-1>TLT-2>TLT-2(explore with the note)>Tomb off the sea(youcan watch it as a standalone). But if you want you can start with Reunion then- Reunion 1> Reunion 2>Ultimate Note>Adventure behind the Bronze Door. For Candle in the tomb series - CITT(the lost caverns)>CITT(the worm valley)>Kunlun Tomb>South Sea Tomb. A few other dramas related to it are there but you can watch them all standalone.

It definitely needs a season 2 but Season 1 is a blast in itself. You will definitely enjoy it. And the story is yet to be finished but the ending of season 1 is not sad or anything.

Her acting is definitely not on par with other actresses especially in costume dramas. I have watched her in 3-4 modern dramas, she has done pretty well in those.
Gina Jin's a good actress, but the role of fl in this drama feels off for her. But there may be a reason for that, we are halfway through the drama and her screen time has been very low. The romance itself is lackluster until now. But still I would have preferred a different fl for this drama.
