This has been case for almost all the dramas. As far as C-dramas are concerned you can at least enjoy half of the drama but k-dramas nowadays are complete nonsense.

It's a great drama. Lately I find it hard to stick to a drama till the end, but this is among the only 2-3 dramas which I've been able to complete in last couple of years.
