guys- spoilers please!!!when do the main couple get together?is there any misunderstanding/breakup? if so how…
- episode 10 I think - they fight before that in episode 6 when he finds out she's a fangirl - it lasts like an episode or 2, nothing serious - the drama kinda ends in episode 11, episode 12 is like a bonus episode with 1 year time skip
Did you actually expected a show called Idol I to be an excellent law drama?
Furthermore, after first 2 episodes with no actual court scenes it was pretty obvious this is a light rom-com driven by a murder plot.
However, I would also prefer to see something more like I Hear Your Voice.
Unfortunately, we entered some quick flicks era with 12 episode kdramas that go as deep as a puddle. The plot is written around romance instead of writing romance along with the plot.
I tried but the comedy is mostly juvenile or just vile.
I mean am I supposed to laugh how ML tosses FL on the ground for no reason at all, how he calls her pervert in front of everyone all the time, how FL's aunt treats her as a money source.
Whatever, maybe it's just not for me but tbh this show is just making me sleepy.
Btw a spoiler on what happened in the past for those interested. Pretty much explains everything that happened…
To be honest even without the spoiler I suspected they broke up cuz he didn't want to study abroad. This drama is far from unpredictable but I like it. So far it's been very slow and soothing even though there is a conflict between them.
That's a common trope. One gets a chance for better career, rejects it, bonus points if doesn't tell their partner about it. Then the other one breaks up "for their own good".
I like this drama so far but there is only one complaint I have.
I wish we would see the past first or the majority of it. Going back and forth in time is tiring. It's like as soon as I get the romance vibe they force me into friendship/admiration vibe and when I come to terms with it they go again with the romance plot.
So yeah, the plot is good but the editing could be better.
I had to check the cast so I could realize she's the same FL as Love Scout, OSN, etc.
Even though I skip it, it still irritates me.
Especially the ending. Episode was pretty good, I'm about to close it and the AI shows up...
And I certainly don't think FL is a weak actress like the comment below. Quite the opposite.

Happy ending

She's just a plot tool

Btw FL has a different accent/dialect than usual cdrama or am I imaging things?
After the block you don't see their comments.
Truly wonderful feature.
He made his life all about her.
She made an elaborate lie that forced him to go abroad. He ended up in unfamiliar place with no family or friends and it wasn't even his decision.
We got a perfect setup with the flashbacks but the show lacked depth in the final episodes. I really thought it would be more slice of life.
I must say that you have really optimistic interpretation of the ending.
- The Rational Life
- Love Scenery
- Love The Way You Are (SITR remake but little to no angst)
- Find Yourself (kinda)

>--He had endured the secret and long midnight before having the morning to wake up with her.
>The story of a divorced woman who broke out of her cocoon and became a butterfly and a poor boy who grew up

He's got bachelor's degree in 1998 according to Baidu so he must have been about 22 yo that year. 1998-22 = 1976.
