From LM death up to episode 16 everything happens in spring/summer so no time skip.
(Episode 16) The shopping scene started in light clothes (summer), then changed to light coats (autumn), warm clothes (winter). After that they were changing a sofa in her apartment.
A few minutes later we get a scene with red flag captain saying his flight attendant girlfriend's suspension was lifted. So was she suspended for 2 years? That would be ridiculous. It was just a few months time skip summer --> winter (Lunar New Year).
After that ep17-20 seem to be in spring/summer so no time skip.
So yeah, timeline is messed up. It was 1 year time skip at most.
PS
I checked because with all the comments I started questioning if I slept through some plot :v
They are really going with I will break up with you to protect youNOT AGAINðŸ˜
If they go through with this I'll be disappointed.
There are so many better topics to handle: FL's risky landing, her career, even disaster zone plotline which apparently was in the novel.
From what I've read here in the comments it seems like they were handed pretty good source material but they're actively trying to change it for the worse
glad i'm not only one confused about when si xian rejected ming yu and then next minute ming yu is feeding her…
Something was cut.
If there was a scene with her ringing at his door and asking awkwardly about something it would have worked because they both know she doesn't really want to reject him.
PS
It's not the first. There was a scene a few episodes ago with her going "for the first time to his office" but she was definitely there already at the beginning of the show.
I don't care enough to check it out but editing is off for some reason. I just ignore flow inconsistencies tbh
Did they really kill off a character as a plot device just to make the stone-hearted woman pursue her romance?…
Yesterday when they were bashing him for ghosting her I thought to myself "he might be dead but nah, it's a cdrama after all".
Well, what the hell lol
Buy hey, on the bright side she won't get more screen time. Frankly, she was starting to annoy me; classic 30yo acting like she's 12. Her whole character felt like a plot tool to be honest
Man its torture waiting for more episodes even though I haven’t started. I was waiting for ep 16 to drop before…
I like it. It's nothing new or unique but it's solid so far.
FL is driven and is not a pushover, ML is a bit scheming (* coughs * like all his roles) but that's fine, side characters are not annoying.
PS
My Bias, My Boss dropped the ball a little but I still like it; it's nothing major like Spooky In Love deciding to be a business drama instead of a ghost drama.
From the currently airing dramas I recommend Bona Fide Killer if you're not watching yet
Once again, Lee Chan doesn't like her. He likes the idea her connection to D.N.X and the fact that she was there…
He likes that she likes him, she likes liking him (idea of him). It gives them comfort.
But they don't like each other.
She even said so herself that she was afraid dating would crush her memories and it's slowly coming true. The person who once set her free of loneliness is now making her feel lonely

Prime example: Go Ahead
First time I watched I wasn't very familiar with cdramas and I remember that this plotline pissed me off so much lol
PS
I like how it was handled in the novel. There is no magic cure for strained relationship
Unfortunately, the mighty has fallen. Lately Viki subs seem to be machine generated and edited a little after that

This drama is just not very good at showing chemistry. Directing and editing is off; actors seem to be fine imo
Lol, this made me laugh
There are dramas that start with a death like Meet Yourself but killing someone young in the middle? Not in cdrama land
Well, what the hell lol

So Mango subs can be like a toss of a coin
I'm not a fan of time travel gender so I'm not sure if there are any exceptions and how far they go
But they don't like each other.
She even said so herself that she was afraid dating would crush her memories and it's slowly coming true. The person who once set her free of loneliness is now making her feel lonely
I prefer modern with a few exceptions when I love synopsis; recent e.g. Knight Flower
I was sceptical when historical watchers praised her but I admit she's pretty good now
Good enough if you're bored but tis no work of art
I hope they will cook something up for this season as well
The old look is a little more pretty girl next door and the new look gives off model vibes.
I don't really care since she looks fine in both. I like her because she can act well
