I think the basic idea at the temple was they prayed and then wrote down a wish/prayer/something they wanted (maybe what they prayed for?)
Sorry, not well-versed in temple culture but I think you probably get the idea...

Su Yun Jin always wrote "to live simply/peacefully" every time she went, and she finds out at the end that Cheng Zheng wrote "Su Yun Jing" - all he ever wanted was her.

It's been a while since I've watched it, so it's not fresh in my brain, but I think he was kind of weary of them until he realized that she didn't recognize him at all, and that's when his ego(?) started to take over haha. But yes, either way, definitely a mess XD

Could be the killer's "sadistic(?)" side? And also his arrogance/pride in thinking that he's smarter and better than them - they tried to hard to prove him innocent (because he knows how to lie and be convincing) but in reality he's having fun mocking them for being stupid and falling for his tricks.

As for not killing her off the first time around, maybe I predicted she'd get framed for what he did anyway, so it wouldn't matter and she was just as good as dead then?

After taking it all in, I feel like they were trying to show us things from Fang Mu's POV - he'd been living in denial the whole time, and so the professor tried to "help him" by 1) recall the tragedy he'd experienced, and 2) when that didn't work, killed more people to force Fang Mu to face the truth...?

I'm debating whether or not I want to drop Two Weeks and just read the recaps for it. It's an okay watch for me, but sometimes I just feel like I'd much rather be watching something else...
