were you sleeping on Nokdu flower?! that sageuk really relieved my 3 year long yearning for a good sageuk
I am talking here about thrilling sageuks with smart and mature characters .. Nokdu, Hwarang , love in the moonlight and all these sort of dramas for me are not categorized in sageuks .. they are just romcom in Joseon era ..
I logged in after decades for no other reason than to write this comment : I FREAKING MISSED SAGEUK.. LIKE REAAAAALLLL SAGEUK WITH DEEP CHARACTERS .. I had to wait 4 years after Six Flying Dragons to feel this excitement about a drama again !!! uuuughh I am happy .. Sejong Dohwan and Jang hyuk .. this trio is finally saving kdrama land !!! The female lead character is awesome too .. standing for her own self .. something we rarely see .. overall nothing to complain about !! loving it so far !! yaayyy
l loved him in kingdom ! He looked super handsome !! I only watched Mask from his older works and I don’t remember falling for his look .. I think traditional clothes suit him the best ! Can’t wait for kingdom2 .. And I will probably give a chance to his next drama Item !
That was a good watch .. not only because of the thrilling and horror concept but also the political games were on point and unpredictable .. something I didn’t see in recent sageuks !!!
I started watching this drama without checking any reviews so I had no biased opinion .. after painfully finishing the 3rd episode I came here to determine whether I should carry on watching .. but it came to me as no surprise to see the low rating. Obviously as I assumed .. despite the originality and uniqueness of the plot .. it is the script that seemed to be written very poorly as consequence it was not able to deliever thrilling vibe ——The scene when phillip was followed by the ghost felt so meh —— Anyway .. as I loved the story I think I should read the webtoon instead .. and stop wasting my time on this.

finished the second episode and can't help my self making this hypothesis : why I feel like Geum is her lost husband and not Jung Yi Hyun !! she said she can't remember her husband face so it seems like the scenes from her past are made based on her assumption that Yi hyun is her husband and not on real facts !! besides that Geum can read animals mind which makes sense that when he was a woodcutter he could hear the deer cry for help.
Anyway I think the drama will go with the couple Yi Hyun x Ok Nam .. to later reveal the truth .. And it is gonna be too late as the couple will be fond for each other lol ..
