What i meant to say wasn't in terms of his acting but about the age of the character. I agree with you, it does get better, once he playes the character in college.
But up untill he was in school, it just didnt fit in. Kang hoon on the other hand did look like a school goer. Maybe the makeup or hairstyle been a little better. He looked quite man like in the school scene.
Seriously it's sad to see, how fans of the Taiwanese version, have been putting up 1 star for ratings. I understand that you didn't find it at par with the original version, but still, I can say the plot line, acting and cinematography of the korean version, definitely don't sum up to just one star. I haven't yet finished the show but still, from watching it with fresh perspective, I feel it's worth an 8.5 (subject to change) as of now. But again, we can have our very different opinions about the same thing. I think the ratings will rise when freshers begin to rate the show . As of now i think a majority who have finished are the ones who have already watched the Taiwanese version and hence are blasting the reviews andd ratings with bad scores. Its understandable though, as 1st impression is the last impression. Also, wanted to add..... Ahn hyo seop was just not meant for this role. Kang hoon did fine (just as he did as Deok Ro in the red sleeve) , Yeo Been is freaking good. She's done a great job.
Is the villa in the background of the " you are not half as attractive as pork meat" scene , same as the house of Lee Jae In in 'Something about 1 percent ' ? Did anybody else notice that?

Well, I'm an introvert as well. What i had in mind while writing this was the ML of 'A love so beautiful ' (K drama), whose character i didn't like. What i reffered to as being weird was , ML initially pretending to ignoreFL, and the FL' greatest strength in such dramas being cuteness, no matter how dumb she is academically. I don't find it practical.

I wont be watching these as i dont like wuxia &xanxia dramas as of now. I did watch court lady though, it was nice. FIYS was freaking awesome. AMA was good as well. I'm more into modern dramas. But would definitely try Wonderland of Love, whenever that airs.

Fireworks of my heart wasn't much different than this one. It was going great but, once they got together, let me put it out clearly, i was expecting more. More of kisses and skinship. After all it was yang yang and pretty chu ran. That incest brother was disgusting, i litteraly skipped all his scenes after a couple of episodes. But their professional life was interesting , sometimes funny , so if was nice. Buf in terms of romance ughhhh. I donno what's wrong with cdramas. Some say its censorship, but how come HL was so good?
