I felt that the drama had its plotlines spanning 30 eps, spread haywire. Its like they reach to conclusion on one issue, and then they begin with next one. I think, this approach to the story didn't work out very well. For example, initial couple of episodes, they were exclusive fixed on silvershop and his uncle, then their relationship, and after they were together, they startecwith Shen Juan's shooting career. Next, after he did achieve something professionally, they introduced the jealous outburst of Xi (his uncle's apprentice). Near the end they diverted the story again towards wan Yi Yang 's career. And in the end Lin You jing got some job away from him, for which they didn't show them communicating, or talking it out.
On the contrary, if you compare this with HL, they had the basic framework planned very well, and as the story progressed, they wove a beautiful story by the end. Same goes with WIFTY. Where things, nothing came out of the blue, every transition was gradual, and hence worked out very well.
Every story has its highlights, & this one had it too. I especially loved the strong and independent female lead, who's qualities are much more than just being cute and following around ML, like a puppy. The ML on the other hand aint some introverted weirdo. He was cool, he worked hard, he fought & smiled alot π . It was a pleasure watching the drama, but its one of those feelings that you know that it could've been better.

Let me tell you , after they get into relationship, there are almost no butterfly moments for next a lot of episodes. (I would say the proposal was probably the sweetest thing in the drama.). Once in college, they focus on their careers more, and we do have bits and pieces of sweet moments but nothing major. But i can assure you, the way both of them support each other , and have each other's back, is definitely sweet to watch. Its not a cute and fluffy drama like WIFTY nor filled with heartracing butterfly moments like HL, but more like a healthy relationship, with more maturity and mutual understanding stuff. They could've definitely focused quite more on the romance aspect of the leads, than shooting career of ML. But still, they're cute together & its definitely worth a watch, though you may end up disagreeing with few of the plot lines.

I think the drama ended with this suspense . I feel sad that we didnt get a proper closure to their story. It would've been better if they would've kept the last episode for their life after graduation, and the much needed romance that was bypassed throughout the 2nd half of the drama
Sadly, this one turned out to be similar to "she and her perfect husband ". It could've been much better π₯ π π It was going great upto E 14 /16 , but afterwards idk what the director &story writer went high on. They both had such good chemistrry in initial episodes, but ever since they got together, it vaporized away . It could've been another great drama of 2023 at par with standards set by WIFTY &HL , but it simply lacks quite a lot in plotline & romance (i feel this shouldn't be called a romance drama at all, coz there was hardly any). Half the drama was good , and then we have the story of a shooter &a SICK mom. Seriously what the heck? They totally ruined it. π I had better expectations. π
Sweet moments had a comeback in today's episode, though it was just for a couple of minutes. It was better than past couple of episodes. (In terms of lead couple romance storyline) Shen Juan 's career is fine , but they shouldn't transform this into a sports drama. Still , I love it , their understanding of each other. I feel like a kiss in last couple of minutes would've made today's episode even better , rather than antipyretics. Lol
what is the relationship between Nie Xing He and Shen Juan and his uncle?
qinghe was Shen Juan's uncle (blood relative). Xing he was a stray kid. One of his parents had died and the other one didnt care about him, so nie Xing he was adopted sort of by SJ's uncle, who taught him silver craft.
But Nie Xing He was always jealous of Shen Juan (ever since childhood. He probably felt that Qinghe focused more on him. Had Shen Juan not been there that silver shop would have been his, without any obstacle. He wanted all of Qinghe 's attention.). That was the reason because of which he tore the match tickets and deleted Shen Juan's texts from his uncle's phone, so that he couldn't go. That's why Shen Juan hated him. Had it not been Xing He, who deleted the texts, Juan's uncle wouldn't have had to rush that day, to be there for his game , and may not have had that accident, that cost his life.
Oh God, this scene was so damn funny. I couldn't stop smiling. lol π

Can't agree more with you. Yi Ran is just fantastic. He was cute as Ai Jia, cold and aloof as Rang Rang, but he's bold, charming and brilliant at the same time as Shen Juan. Shen Juan is my favorite character any day. He's just too good.
I'm so happy that its a 30E drama. Its sooooo freaking good. The best part iss that the female ain't a dumb girl, trying to charm her crush by cuteness. (Gosh, i hated " A love so beautiful"). I love how strong willed and brilliant Lin Yu Jing is.
I have only watched a few Japanese dramas, but this is the only one where (in my opinion) the male lead is handsome!…
