Finished the episode and I was so upset at God and Diew for their lack of communication. But thank God for the fast track episodes because I was happy they made up in the first half of ep 11. Then Wan finally realized how life pretty much sucks without Beer as his one and only!
I cracked up at Game and God talking about Diew’s physical wellbeing when it comes to sex. Then Diew and Win having a funny war about God and Game.
Ep 12, the redemption episode. I teared up at Diew and Mom reconciling. And I love the presentation of growth by Diew and Game. And Jane being showing extreme growth and support for Diew. You are alright with me now Jane.
Haha God now wants peace and quiet while Diew is becoming more of an extrovert.
This series was so good! I pray that Big and Park have another series lined up because they are my new favorite pairing.
With that said, my thoughts: Jiang Tian fell first but Sheng Wang fell harder. Those intrusive thoughts took over during JT’s drinking water and shower scene.
It’s true that it’s not about asking yourself if you like someone, your heart will only see them in everything. That montage moment of SW thinking of JT as Shi Yu was explaining why he liked He Shi was sweet .
Ugh. I feel so much for Zhao Xi and Lin Bei. To have had feelings for someone since college and you thought it was unrequited but it turns out they liked you in the first place. I can see the hurt in Zhao Xi’s eyes when he Lin Bei told him that he liked him.
JT really upset to be parted from SW. I definitely felt his pain and frustration when he screamed and punched the wall after helping SW to the new classroom.
Ugh I hate the fact when you like someone, it becomes incredibly complicated when your single parents starts dating, become engaged and eventually married. This is not some BL trope as it is very real in other people’s lives. How they navigated through that is beyond my understanding.
Again I end with, there better be a season two or we ride at Dawn to the production company.
But fantastic job to the cast and crew of this series! So well done!!
I’m so glad the viewers now know that back in college Zhao Xi had a crush on Lin Bei but for whatever reason thought it was unrequited and that Lin Bei kissed him to prove he didn’t like Jenny.
Ji Hao why can’t you just leave SW and JT alone?! You already sent your thugs of friends to SW and Jenny and that wasn’t enough for you? Honestly he is going to remain so self centered and make terrible choices in life if he keeps this up into his adulthood.
“Is it just a pair of lips touching?” What a title for an episode for JT and SW. Now we know why JT is very to himself at the beginning of this series and why he loathes his father. I’m glad they saved that revelation as a Jian’s moment.
Final episode tomorrow and I’m so sad to see the show end but I feel like everyone will be ready for season two for sure! I hope it’s announced at the end of the tomorrow’s episode!
And Af! I knew he was up to no good again! To drug someone and then (if next Sundays episode leads to this) potentially r*** them. Like the actual f***.

I absolutely agree with you. Now I'm convinced that it's not just Gina but Khing sending those texts to Cake. And it's teased that Kla is on to them when he mentioned the pearl cage after the trip. Can't wait for the karma that awaits them and Af!
Episode 3 is definitely an eye opener type of episode. Now we know that Mas can see into Khen’s world somehow. And Khen can enter into Mas’ world by dreaming. That lady with the tree power must have did some type of ritual for her to gain such power. Why does Mas hate her? Can’t wait to find out.
As for David’s (actor) acting, it feels like he is reciting his lines and his facial expressions are too abrupt at times like he is unsure of himself. I hope it gets better from there because he is too handsome to not do his absolute best with this character.
Episode 4 through maybe 6 will be a “let them cook” to give us all the backstory. And I’m invested.

No. Even though it's clear Jiang Tian is feeling some type of way about Sheng Wang. It's Sheng Wang who makes the first move based on the series trailer. I had to rewatch that after the end of today's episode to prepare myself for what will be the heartache episode that is usually episode 11 for BLs with 12 episodes.

I know. There's never going to be a faithful adaptation from novel to series but, I don't see anything as a filler so far with this series. There were many messages in this episode that people can take away from their own experiences and this series is doing its job by having people talk about it each week.

I feel like the most recent BLs I've seen released this year has broke the episode 11 curse. And having the angst happen earlier like in episode 10. Anytime I see a glimpse of something twice in two different episodes then I know the angst is about to hit in the next episode. Let's see what happens.
I feel sorry for Jia Hao. To have to compare yourself and make yourself fit in. I know that all too well growing up but I wish he had a close friend to help him see that even when he is not the top of his class or highly favored, he is still valued and important.
I was so happy to see Jiang Tian and Sheng Wang dominating their sports events! And for their class to win first place overall. And I know people will say "well that defeats the message Zhao Xi gives to Jia Hao because it's all about comparison and competition."
But that's the life of school. While healthy competition is good, especially when it's a class effort, it's important for teachers to teach their students the balance of success and failure. Without it, students like Jia Hao will always strive to be the best but not be graceful to themselves when they fail which leads to stress, heartache and so on.
Zhao Xi and Lin Bei's side story is very important in the novel. Especially since Jiang Tian is a witness to it after the trauma induced moment with his dad.
Showing his burnt mark on his neck again tells me that hopefully tomorrow's episode will address what happened to him.
