Who else thinks that you should not have children if you yourself and your partner cannot raise the child and…
In Korea corporate slaves working 14 hours a day often become parents due to outside pressure and it is normal for the retired grandparents to raise them kids. It sucks, but it is what it is. (and this is why their fertility rates are the lowest in the world) Obviously Hae Jun is pretty loaded, so she can afford to hire a caretaker for their baby..
(take these with a grain of salt, because I did not understand a lot in this episode's conversations)
-Yoon Jae's injury was a lot of fun -Family members were tested, but none of them are compatible donors. (grandpa has not been tested yet) -Mother in law had a 1 on 1 conversation with Yoona, it seemed very amicable, but I have no idea what they talked about. :-( -Lot of people in the know cry about the cancer situation. -The cliffhanger is Mirae "finding out" and feeling sudden illness, the baby is unlikely to be in danger, but that's what the cliffy is about..
Jamie, that's an interesting point. I too have seen the ire directed at this, especially at Ms. Bae. I don't think…
" At least twice, they've caught her glancing at cue cards instead of the person she's talking to. " This happens A LOT in family dramas, because the whole production is incredibly rushed, so it's on the Knetz for having unreasonable expectations.
"It really makes me wonder how much of this show is being written "on the fly" A LOT of it is, but this has always been the case for the vast majority of kdrama productions. (Live filming is a practice I wish they stopped going forward, but it's not going to happen for multiple reasons)
I agree with Bae Da Bin being mostly fine in this role. Much of her character's problems are not the actress's fault.
Many viewers have voiced their concern that Su-Jung/Jung Eun has been given too much screen time, and I also have…
I don't think that's it. It's just an effort to please the elder demographic more. Once Again had the same with Lee Jung Eun. It's rather standard really, find out what works & then please ALL demographics a little. At least that's what I think all family dramas aim to do and for the elderly, that is SJ's plotline here. It's very calculated, I doubt if MR was portrayed by a more skilled actress this would be much different.
..Mi Rae's mom is the one with cancer. (unless I completely misunderstood the scene with my bad Korean)If someone…
It's liver cancer actually & it's the mom for sure. This is non teaser territory now. (unless not only me, but the professional subber also misunderstood)
..Mi Rae's mom is the one with cancer. (unless I completely misunderstood the scene with my bad Korean)
If someone HAD to have cancer, might as well be her, right? This will be the big dramatic event of the last 4 episodes, so I wouldn't expect any other major trouble at this point. Though the teaser is something else AGAIN..
What the heck?? Did the preview just show Mi Rae has cancer????!
Someone does have cancer! But it's NOT Mi Rae. I just skimped through ep46 to find this out. I'm struggling with my bad Korean here, but it's probably her mom.
Anything is possible though..

I've seen shit going down with just 90 minutes (or less, far less even) left from a Kdrama.
