No it's not incest, a piece of paper is not going to make it incest. They have no blood relation & they have not…

Title It's Beautiful Now Spoiler
wait so is it incest or notedit: yeah okay this is so bizarre and weird and just.... yikes. same blood or not,…
No it's not incest, a piece of paper is not going to make it incest. They have no blood relation & they have not spent a second together before meeting as adults ..

Why mirae suddenly started acting like a bit*h? like she thinks she has some kind of solutions lol
Normal sensible solutions cannot really be shown on K television, fork these lost child plots..

Title Gyeongseong Creature Spoiler
What’s wrong with the screenwriter?
Everything she wrote in the past 10 years has been either mediocre, or bad. Gu Family book and Dr Romantic are her biggest hits -somehow-, but Gu's story is terrible and Dr R has no plot..
Her latest, Forecasting Love and W had perhaps the worst plot of any drama I haven't dropped.

Where Stars Land is her only good drama, but the script is not why.

They're not blood related and don't share the same family register. So legally they're not cousins and can marry.…
"They just need to run tests to confirm that they'll not produce children with thalassemia, mental illnesses or something serious like that."

Unfortunately that's not how that works, they can test for some things, but not everything, it's not recommended to have a child with your cousin.

Not that it's relevant for this drama, it's just some over-dramatized family register BS.
On Gyeongseong Creature Aug 4, 2022
I don't mean to sound toxic or anything, but I cannot believe that prolific actors are still willing to accept Kang Eun Kyung's scripts. Especially after Forecasting ..

Let's hope she is going to write a good drama, but I'm HUGELY skeptical.

Unpopular opinion: Korea doesn't know how to make dorama without putting in romance when it doesn't even need…
I completely disagree. Romance is the reason why Hallyu is on the map & it's the only thing they can do consistently well.(well okay romance & comedy, two things) The pure thrillers & procedural dramas I've seen were at best mediocre, far inferior to American shows.

Title Kiss Sixth Sense Spoiler
About the last 15 minutes..
The webtoon's first season ends with a honking cliffhanger and the drama writer did a very low effort attempt to do something similar, but more acceptable for a drama that won't have a second season (yeah).

I'm thinking that there could be a real chance that the webtoon artist would follow Yumi's Cells example in the FL having multiple partners over a long period of time.

I liked the two leads but everyone else seems to have been cranked out of a kdrama character factory circa 2015.…
More like 2005-10

Title Love the Way You Are Spoiler
It's good, but 99.9% different.
There are two important things that they've taken from the "original", namely the red umbrella & the iconic hand holding scene. The first one doesn't really work, because with the completely different cinematography the original artistic intent is completely lost. The hand holding scene felt a bit whelming, perhaps it should've been re-shot, but that's not all, they completely changed the aftermath of it, I was mildly disappointed about that if I want to be completely honest.

EVERYTHING ELSE is different, the vibe, the relationship, the hardships & the (long) happy ending, even the supporting characters are completely different. It barely makes sense to even consider these two dramas related. They bought the licence, but ended up not doing much of anything with it.

SiTR had been ruined for me by the super makjang-ish second half, here we only have a few scenes like that at the half way point, overall it's a pretty tame drama, with a very limited amount of angst.

I started this yesterday, I'm currently on ep3, nothing much is going on yet, however I find the instrumental tracks quite fascinating.

How is this compared to the Korean version?

Cdramas are generally less intense..
I feel the same way, the censorship has its perks. (there is a guideline about avoiding a conflict above a certain intensity)

I still think the original is better, i think this version lacks in intensity
Cdramas are generally less intense..

I somewhat agree, though it's difficult to compare them & the setting + plot are just too different. (plus it's…
The problem is not that the tracks are bad, far from it, but rather the endless repetition.
