I think the netizens themselves don't know what they really want. We can even question if the netizens signing this petition are the people that actually watch dramas..

I'm fairly sure a factual documentary style drama that doesn't romanticize events would never get double digit viewership.

Intimacy does not happen before the second ML is told "let's break up" twice & then FL tells second ML's father that they are done too..

This drama is based on a BL story, it's classified as , "Censored Adaptation Of Same-sex Original Work".
I like the wuxia, xianxia etc genres, I wouldn't mind, if there would be 2 main male leads & no romance.

Is it possible to enjoy this If one doesn't like BL dramas?

I really don't like Sageuk dramas. (I guess I'm okay with historical cdramas, because usually there is less makjang & I prefer anything over Joseon hats)

I made this post, because recently I was thinking that perhaps without the heavy product placements & sponsorships that plague kdramas today hallyu would only produce sageuks and then I wouldn't be a kdrama fan. So I guess The Subway is my savior?!

This bothered me too. I think it was just a cheap plot device to up the conflict.

Personally I love the songs, the only problem is repetition, especially if someone is binge watching.

I really hope Shin Hye Sun won't waste her precious time with acting in this drama. :-)

Ep 27 is an odd time to stop. I mean if you lasted that long, there is not much point in dropping it anymore, do you really want to miss the ending?

Anyhow most countries are not like South Korea in the sense, that you have to follow your country's laws aboard, but rather you have to follow the host country's laws.
For example in my country marijuana consumption is a crime, but if I traveled to the Netherlands and had some there, even if there was an irrevocable proof of my actions, I would not be persecuted.

She did not go to prison in China nor did she get fined for breaking the law, but rather those censors decided to make a banning decision based on public opinion & sentiment, rather than following the law.

I don't know what the truth is about her alleged abandonment of her children & plans of abortion. (and I follow the creed of "Love the art not the artist!")

However what I find sad is that she straight up looks malnourished in Love O2O.(have not seen her in other dramas, but I'm guessing that she did not improve her health since then) Probably that's why they went with surrogacy in the first place. I think those Chinese censors should rather ban agencies that turn these young girls into malnourished sickly individuals.

Going aboard and getting surrogacy there is not against the letter of Chinese law.

Imo Perfect and Casual has 2 of the best tracks I've heard in a cdrama, but indeed GGS's OST is fine too.

With that said I find it so annoying how easily people are condemned like this. Spend 10000$ on bribing a few former classmates, find an ajumma that remembers that "loud" kid and the career of an actor is permanently ruined. It's impossible to find evidence so many years after the fact.. It's not like anyone is going to be forced testify, or anything.

Also no one gives a shit about Tom Cruise being a Scientologist & how that led to divorces etc.

I agree with you, that said stuff like that happens A LOT in Chinese romance webnovels. The Chinese audiences (99% girls) must love stuff like that.
