100% gonna watch Ash! The ratings don't always tell the story. People like what they like, and hate what they hate. But that doesnt mean they have good taste.

Maybe this is silly, but that makes me want to watch it more.

They need to do a 1.5 hour finale like Khemjira! This has been a masterpiece so far, so I'm gonna try to trust the process.

I dont even know what to do with myself. This show makes my entire being ache. I feel like it is gently leading me through every human emotion and caring for me while I experience each of them. And it evokes all of my senses as well. The music, bird song, and other nature sounds. Their beauty and the beautiful locations where this is filmed.The focus on the tea makes me imagine its aroma and its warmth. The blood rushing to my face out of lust, love, sorrow, anger, or whatever they have stirred in me this time. Its just so damn good! 😭😍

First, I want compensation for this week's use of "Lil'Jane" since I've been saying that term throughout. The writers should talk to my lawyers. Second, I like the addition of family, and especially kids, in BL so that was a plus for me! Third, more of Gap please! Finally, LJ cannot stop himself from snooping. BJ is gonna have to just accept that or move on.

Fair enough. I did find it strangely aggressive, but it made sense to me at the time because it had already been established that Tae is a dom and Chae is a sub (who wants his dom to earn it). And this was one more escalation in a line of increasingly severe escalations. Plus Chae was boundary setting, i.e., you can be rough with me but if you draw blood I draw blood. Later on it made more sense to me because the true reason for Tae's hatred comes out, so he was using his physical/sexual dominance to own Chae, to make him suffer the way he had when he lost his father.

I loved Shine, which sounds like a similar mix albeit different time period. Maybe I'll move it up the list. Thanks!

Wish this was a series. I wanted more of the story than a movie could provide. Also, the mains can stop being so damn sexy and go easy on the chemistry so I can sleep at night again. Lawdamercy!

I love Maxky. And I am more into this show than I would have anticipated from the poster.

I dont know. every time I think im gonna start it I hesitate. i guess im worried about the strength or uniqueness of the story.

This was weird to me. There were a lot of disjointed moments where something started and stopped and we all just moved on. There were some great chemistry moments between the MLs. Its full of standard issue BL tropes but they are handled better here (read: not painfully drawn out). The second couple had a terrible storyline. It was absolutely ridiculous and I felt badly for them, especially after watching them carry That Summer. They have chemistry but the writing didn't let us see that. I didnt hate it, but I could have used less of it as well.

I'm on the fence about Edge of the Horizon

Ha! I know that scene too! I'm really way more into this than their production budget signaled I would be! It's not smooth or flashy. The editors need more discipline. Shixian's hair changes color constantly. And I love it! As for the singing, it took me a minute to understand how many (former? up and coming? wannabe?) idols there are in BL and how often the OST is them. I really like Tiger In My Love (Deep In), Mantra (Khemjira), and of course there are a number of Jeff Satur tracks like Why Don't You Stay (KinnPorsche) and Moment (Ingredients). I'll look for this OST on YouTube, but I wish streaming services would pick up more of these.

His expressions and body language in the scene where he's dragged to the hotel are amazing. At check in, when he's "tied up" in the chair, etc. I know exactly what he's thinking the whole time with barely a word. Really well done.
