I agree, there have been on a rare occasion where a drama has good acting, and the music is good, but they don't match correctly. For example I remember watching a crim drama that included classical music for no reason why, and it just felt awkward and clunky and didn't work.

Signal and Hotel Del Luna especially have a wonderful OST. I'm actually currently watching Live so I'll let you know about their OST once I have finished the drama as a whole, but I can tell you it's a very good start so far. With others you have mentioned I need to listen to most of them.

I agree, and that's why unfortunately I haven't given any Taiwanese dramas a second chance due to this.

Strangers from Hell OST is another underrated masterpiece that also fits into the drama so well. I could have mentioned this OST in my article easily too! What did you think of Strangers from Hell in it's entirety? I still need to check out Parasite's OST, and the film lol, so thank you so much for reminding me! Lol. And yes I do agree with that, also some dramas, due to their story, actually benefit from having only one or two songs in their OST. Good point!

It makes total sense that you're waiting for a specific time to watch Itaewon Class as it's exactly the same as what I did when I watched it. For me specifically its been easily the quickest binge-watch I've ever done.

Thank you for including the list of these great songs, and now I have many new OST's I need to listen too! I am also glad you included the Gangnam Beauty OST in here as I feel like that is another OST which deserves more praise!

The It's Not Okay to Not Be Okay OST is recently my most listened, like you have said, every song is superb and for me I can listen to it at any time. With some OST's that I 'enjoy' but not 'love'. I can only listen to at certain times, but with this OST that's not the case. It's so good!

Funnily enough with Live AND with Cheese in the Trap they are both the dramas I am currently watching! And the My Mister OST is spectacular!

Yeah, no matter whether you loved or hated Itaewon Class, you remember the music. I'll check out the Angel's Eyes OST as I haven't listened to it, so thank you for mentioning it!
