Ik I may seem biased, but I would definitely say that it's not bad enough to warrant a 1. Just like there are JD lovers who will rate everything a 10, there will also be haters who rate everything a 1. I would recommend you don't rely on any of the reviews and watch the first couple of eps and see how you feel and decide. Drama tastes are subjective after all

Yea, there's both 9-10 reviews and 1 stars reviews. It's always one extreme or the other, especially with Thai BLs. This is why I wish MDL didn't allow reviews before at least half of a drama has aired😔

From what I understand in the novel, he initially starts it to tease/annoy Kamin. There is some attraction from his side from the beginning, but it mainly started as a way to annoy him. Especially, since Kamin is such a poker faced guy.
