Have there every been a jbl with 3 couples (technically four if you count the sister and her bf)
I don't think so, but based on the casting for the Japanese version, I think we might get them. It depends on the # of episodes and run time, I guess

wonder why this is is not clicking, is it the lack of promos?
I think it's because it's a historical genre. Often, historical genres aren't as favored as the modern romance genres in the BL space. That doesn't mean this one's doing badly though. It's been #1 on Iqiyi for global series and the general tv ratings are pretty decent as well

worth it?
For me, it's defo worth it. It has a good amount of comedy, romance , and mystery. Plus, both the couples in this are good. If you're okay with lots of Thai style humor and slow burn romance, then you might like this one.

I love Net. He seems a caring person, apart from being handsome. However, I do not think JJ is a good fit. Together…
??? If you're talking about their real life relationship, then you absolutely haven't seen enough of them. They're literally known as the comedic/funny couple.

If you're talking about the drama characters, then like Nadie said, the vibes are supposed to be melancholic, so I'm very confused by your statement

The amount of people defending Lu Feng's actions is crazy. Its okay if he wants to take revenge on Yichen. Yichen did wrong him. That's totally fine. But, He literally raped Yichen. RAPED! And if anyone still defends him and says that Yichen deserves it, then I don't know what to say. Nobody deserves that. NOBODY

how is it that phop has the same name in the present as in the past when no one else does? or is it just a coincidence
I mean, there is a little bit of difference in the names. In the past he was Muenphop, while in the present he's Tinnaphop

If Khun had told him his real name and when he went missing, he would have found him easilyđŸ€”. Anyway, Net Siraphop…
I think he told everyone he was not klao, but Nakun at the very beginning of the show. EP 1 I think, but that would probably be not easy to remember

Just watched the first episode and I’m really liking the idea of a morally grey/black protagonist. After reading some of the discussions here, I just want to give my input. Was Sun a bad guy during his debt‑collector days? Yes, absolutely. Was it wrong of him to threaten that little girl? Again, for sure. But I disagree with the idea that he “bought” his brother’s death himself. If the debtor had stabbed Sun instead, then yeah, I’d say Sun brought that on himself. In that case the consequences would’ve landed directly on the person who caused the harm. But that’s not what happened. The debtor chose to kill an innocent kid who had nothing to do with any of this. I was on his side up until that point . His house was being taken, his daughter was threatened, and he was pushed into a corner. But the moment he turned his rage onto the easiest, most vulnerable target, he stopped being blameless. He didn’t kill Sun’s brother because of some karmic justice or whatever. He killed him because he chose to. That’s on him, not on Sun. Yes, all of this started because of Sun’s job, and Sun should feel guilty for being part of something that terrorized people. He should feel guilty for threatening that family. He needs to go through the redemption arc and make himself better. But the murder itself? That moral burden belongs to the debtor. By killing the innocent kid, the debtor just proved he's worse than Sun, because he crossed a line Sun never did. That's just my thoughts though

I absolutely cannot remember who the guy is that hit klao in the last ep, who is he? Has he appeared in the show…
That is Kla. He's one of the guards who was working with Phop. We defo saw him in the previous eps as well. He's the one who claimed that 'he was keeping an eye on Cherd on the night of the robbery' and claimed that 'Cherd was not a part of the opium robbery group'
