I can see why you would get confused lol. If you want to watch something else CXX is in, I would recommend, "Fall in Love". I'm not really a fan of dramas set in that era but this one was a good one from beginning to end. You will also see what I mean about him flirting lol.

You should try watching the, "Director's Cut" version because it gives you a little more detail as to what's going on. And if you like angst it is definitely worth the watch.

I did love her character and I loved the chemistry between herself and Li Chengyin/Gu Xiao Wu, but then again from what I've seen in other dramas CXX can flirt with a rock and get a reaction lol. I just love everything about this drama 😍

Yesss omg, I thought I was the only one thinking that. I never read the book but I always wondered if it was explicitly mentioned in the book and had to be watered down for the drama.

I am currently re-watching it and I'm still crying even though I know what's going to happen. I love the angst in it

The villagers going back is just another example of some of the silly plots just to keep the drama going. You didn't miss anything when it comes to Chuchu's brother, I even forgot about him. Besides saying early on that he got away, they never mentioned about his fate again. The other thing that frustrated me was the multiple "catch and release" of Chu Tianyu (I think that was his name). I was so happy when he was killed Snow Wolf because it didn't seem like anyone from 48 stronghold would do it. And don't even get me started on the Third Prince lol. But overall it wasn't a bad drama.

I was sooooo frustrated with episode 44. I was literally yelling at my screen, "KILL HER ALREADY!!!" and also I can't remember which episode but it was the one where Li Yan is helping and subsequently gets captured by Shen Tian Shu, I could barely contain my anger. Why are there so many useless people in this drama lol

That's unfortunate about the romance in Sword Snow Stride because I like when there's romance thrown in. But I have heard good things about it so I will watch it.

No worries. I'm on episode 41 and I'm enjoying it also. I did like the storyline of Pearl Eclipse more but I like that the romance in Legend of Fei is a slow burn. I can't remember the fighting scenes in Pearl Eclipse but there are times in LoF where I'm disappointed because I'm expecting a fight scene but then they cut to something completely different. Sword Snow Stride is next on my list so hopefully I enjoy it.

I completed Pearl Eclipse a couple weeks ago and I started this one yesterday and I'm only 3 episodes in so the jury is still out on it but I will say that once you get past the first few episodes of Ancient Love Poetry (i.e. the first 13 or so episodes), it is completely worth the watch. But if you do watch this one first, it would be nice to discus it and compare notes lol
