I completely agree with you. I started watching dramas in 2011 also and I've been having this same discussion with my drama watching friends, who have been watching for as long as I have if not longer and we all agree.

I'm out here listening to the soundtrack on repeat whilst waiting for episode 3. The struggle is real

Yes, this is good but no kiss scenes yet. I think maybe episode 4 when it airs. Try "The Secret of Us" if you want a completed GL drama with girls kissing.

That would give "Inception" vibes and we all know how that went down with fans lol. But I would be happy with either ending.

Three years later and I'm still on this page. This drama definitely left a mark

"Love Loke the Galaxy" is good. Also in Li Cheng Yin's defense, besides the whole killing her grandfather and his tribe part (which was essential to his survival) most other things he did was to protect her. He just went about it all the wrong way

Not that my opinion matters but I highly recommend both. They are both well written and executed dramas.

The other 2 are worth the watch. Ashes of love takes a while before the story truly gets going but once it does it's good. These 2 dramas are a bit older so the CGI is a bit dated. And while you're at it you should also watch "Eternal Love (Ten miles of peach Blossoms)".

I think if you haven't seen "Ashes of love" and or "Love and Redemption" then it might be a more interesting watch, but if you've seen these 2 dramas then it just ends up being a combination of the 2 with more repetitiveness within the drama itself. So I won't say don't watch it (even I'm still watching it with all of my complaints 😅) but at least now you know what to expect.

I had high hopes for "Immortal Samsara" because I've seen the leads in other dramas that I love (AoL and LaR) but I am bored to tears half the time and then it got got for about 10 episodes and now I'm back to being bored again. This drama was on my list and like you I wanted to wait until it was done airing but I needed something to fill the time while I was waiting on LLTG new episodes and now I'm waiting on both 😭😭😭

I had high hopes for another fantasy drama which is airing right now and had this one on my list only because it's fantasy and well Dylan Wang😅. Turns out this drama is killing it and the other drama is falling flat for me.
