I liked the special effects and the fighting scenes, but, even putting aside comparisons with the anime/manga (some characters were a bit off) imo the plot was a big mess. Too many elements, too many characters and way too much on the plate :-/
I remember not liking him very much in the first few episodes, but without realizing when the turning point was I suddenly found myself wanting to scream "OMG you're SO CUTE" every time he was on the screen.
To me the best part of having Japanese dramas on netflix is that I can watch them with japanese subs (which are otherwise a huge hassle to get), so I really hope they keep adding more and more!
Yayyy, I can finally read your article! I am a long time fan of the manga, and as you know I was afraid it was going to be a cringefest, but thank you very much for this in-depth analysis (and for what you already told me), I will watch this! :D
Uhmmmm maybe it's just me but I spent the whole movie getting small bursts of tears - it's such a simple and straightforward story but it's so heartwarming!
I loved loved loved the main couple, but the fact that even the blabbermouth guy and the meddling aunt and the bitchy pretty girl all got their happy ending just melted my heart!
It had great reviews but was even better that I expected! Finally a zombie movie with not too much gore, characters I'm actually sorry to see die and great action scenes! (why did I even wait so much to watch it??)
8 vote, but no comments = lie. Why vote when this doesn't exist ? Tried to google both in Japanese and English…
Hi! I know a lot of time has passed, but if you're still interested you can either 1. Download it as a torrent from avistaz.to (ex asiatorrents), if you have an account. This is the only torrent file I know about 2. Watch it on tudou (the quality is not that great, but again, this is the only streaming I know of). You can find it by searching トイレの花子さん 1995 on google, but if you're not able to just pm me and I'll send you the link! I know this movie is super difficult to find, I had a very hard time with it too! :)
OMG Oguri Shun as Gintoki??? I love them both so much, I can't believe this is actually a thing! I hope the movie turns out well, but thanks anyway to whatever god made this happen!
Yep, the best solution for me is to totally change course for a while...
Worst thing I've ever done was try to watch a remake of the same show right after my life was overwhelmed by it...never, NEVER doing that again! I'm not joking, had to turn it off after 5 minutes.
Also, mdlers helped me very much in the past...another great solution to this feeling of being lost were a couple of forum threads I started going like "Now that ~ is over, help me decide what to do with my life!". And people were pretty much great in helping me substitute one addiction for another. XD
It turned out to be a bit different then I thought...but in a good way! The acting is top class, the actress portraying the main character did an awesome job! Also, I love how they used the music score...the most important moments are marked by absolute silence. I saw it at the Tokyo International Film Festival and I'm waiting until it goes out in regular theaters so I can give it a veeery good rating!
